Job Description – Business Development Manager (BDM)

Job Type: Full-Time (Work from Office + Field Visits)
Experience: Minimum 2 Years (Real Estate/Construction/Business Development Mandatory)
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on Interview Performance & Experience)

Job Summary

Lucknow Builders is looking for a dynamic, result-oriented, and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management. Candidates with experience in the real estate, construction, infrastructure, or property sector will be preferred.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, managing the sales pipeline, leading customer acquisition initiatives, coordinating with internal departments, and driving revenue growth. The candidate will also be responsible for handling key clients, supervising business development activities, and ensuring the achievement of organizational sales objectives through both office-based and field operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Strategy

Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue and market presence.
Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, digital platforms, market research, and field visits.
Expand the company's client base by generating qualified leads for residential and commercial construction projects.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Lead Generation & Sales

Generate, qualify, and manage high-quality leads.
Meet prospective clients to understand their construction and property requirements.
Present company services, residential and commercial projects, pricing, payment plans, and project timelines.
Convert qualified leads into site visits, bookings, and successful business opportunities.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, investors, channel partners, and corporate customers.
Handle client enquiries professionally through calls, WhatsApp, emails, meetings, and presentations.
Ensure timely follow-up and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
Resolve client concerns and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Site Visits & Business Promotion

Organize and conduct client site visits.
Represent Lucknow Builders during exhibitions, property events, seminars, networking events, and promotional campaigns.
Present project features, amenities, layouts, and construction progress professionally.
Strengthen the company's market presence through effective business promotion.

Team Leadership & Coordination

Coordinate with the Sales, Marketing, Site Engineering, Accounts, CRM, and Administration teams.
Guide and support Business Development Executives in achieving business targets.
Monitor team performance and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
Ensure smooth coordination between office operations and field activities.

Market Research & Business Analysis

Conduct market surveys to identify customer preferences and emerging business opportunities.
Monitor competitor pricing, promotional activities, and market trends.
Provide regular business insights and recommendations to senior management.
Develop action plans to improve lead conversion and customer acquisition.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of leads, client meetings, site visits, bookings, and follow-ups.
Update CRM, Excel sheets, and business records regularly.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly business development reports.
Ensure confidentiality of company and customer information.

Required Skills

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and business development abilities.
Proven experience in sales, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Knowledge of the real estate and construction industry.
Ability to prepare business proposals, quotations, and presentations.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Email, Internet, and Google Workspace.
Knowledge of CRM software and lead management systems.
Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to achieve business targets.

Eligibility

Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management will be preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Real Estate Sales, Construction Sales, or Client Relationship Management.
Experience with builders, developers, construction companies, infrastructure companies, or real estate firms will be preferred.
Candidate should be a resident of Lucknow or willing to relocate.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Mandatory Requirements

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Business Development or Sales is mandatory.
Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and customer handling skills.
Willingness to travel within Lucknow for client meetings, site visits, business development activities, and promotional events.
Ability to lead business development initiatives and support junior team members.
Must maintain professionalism while interacting with customers, contractors, vendors, and business associates.
Should maintain punctuality, discipline, and confidentiality.
Must follow company policies and business ethics.
