Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Construction Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to lead and manage construction projects from planning through completion and handover.
The candidate will be responsible for overall project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, contractor management, quality control, safety, resource management, and timely project delivery. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution
- Take overall responsibility for the successful execution and completion of assigned construction projects.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Plan and monitor construction activities to ensure timely completion.
- Establish project priorities and ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and resources.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and take corrective action where required.
- Identify potential delays, risks, and constraints and implement mitigation plans.
2. Contractor & Consultant Management
- Manage and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and vendors.
- Review contractor work programs, method statements, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Conduct regular project coordination and progress meetings.
- Resolve technical, execution, and coordination issues between project stakeholders.
- Ensure contractors meet project quality, safety, cost, and schedule requirements.
3. Cost & Budget Management
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
- Review BOQs, estimates, variations, and contractor bills.
- Control material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Review and manage variation orders and additional works.
- Coordinate with the commercial/accounts team for project cost tracking and payment certification.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
4. Quality Management
- Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
- Establish and monitor project quality procedures and inspection processes.
- Review inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation.
- Ensure timely rectification of defects and non-conformities.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and relevant authorities.
- Ensure proper completion of snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict implementation of project health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate with the HSE team to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure contractors comply with approved safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address unsafe practices immediately.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project team and workforce.
6. Design & Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other design teams.
- Review construction drawings and identify design conflicts or discrepancies.
- Ensure timely resolution of RFIs, technical queries, and design changes.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and finishing works.
- Ensure approved drawings and revisions are properly communicated to site teams.
7. Site Management
- Provide overall leadership and direction to site engineers, supervisors, and project teams.
- Monitor daily construction activities and site productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
- Ensure availability of required materials, manpower, machinery, and equipment.
- Resolve site-level issues and coordinate with management for major concerns.
8. Project Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit regular project progress reports to senior management.
- Monitor project KPIs related to cost, time, quality, safety, and productivity.
- Maintain project records, approvals, drawings, contracts, meeting minutes, and reports.
- Provide management with updates on project status, risks, delays, and required decisions.
- Maintain proper documentation for project completion and handover.
9. Project Handover & Closure
- Ensure completion of all construction activities as per approved requirements.
- Coordinate snagging and rectification works.
- Ensure preparation and submission of as-built drawings and operation & maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, statutory approvals, and final inspections.
- Ensure smooth handover of completed projects to the client/operations team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in Project Management will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management principles, and site execution.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience managing residential, commercial, high-rise, or large-scale real estate projects.
- Experience in managing contractors, consultants, project teams, budgets, and project schedules.
- Experience in handling projects from mobilization through completion and handover.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction planning and execution.
- Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera P6 is preferred.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to interpret construction drawings.
- Strong understanding of BOQ, estimation, contracts, variations, and cost control.
- Knowledge of quality management and construction safety practices.
- Good understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP coordination.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
