Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced SAP Procurement & Contract Management Consultant to support procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and contract lifecycle processes within a SAP IS-U utility environment.

The consultant will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP procurement and contract management solutions, ensuring seamless integration with utility operations, maintenance, projects, inventory management, and finance processes. The role will play a key part in enabling efficient procurement of materials, services, metering equipment, network assets, and utility infrastructure components.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management), Procurement, Contract Management, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, and integration with SAP PM, SAP IS-U, SAP FI/CO, and project management functions.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Procurement & Sourcing

Configure and support end-to-end procurement processes in SAP.
Manage procurement lifecycle activities including:
Purchase Requisitions
Request for Quotations (RFQ)
Vendor Selection
Purchase Orders
Goods Receipt
Service Procurement
Invoice Verification
Support strategic sourcing and procurement automation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and approval workflows.

Contract Management

Configure and manage procurement and service contracts.
Support:
Rate Contracts
Framework Agreements
Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
Service Contracts
Supply Contracts
Project-Based Contracts
Monitor contract utilization and expiry management.
Support contract amendments, renewals, and closures.
Ensure contract compliance and governance.

Vendor Management

Support vendor onboarding and master data management.
Manage supplier evaluation and performance monitoring processes.
Ensure vendor qualification and compliance requirements are met.
Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for vendor-related activities.
Support supplier relationship management initiatives.

Inventory & Materials Management

Configure and support inventory management processes.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Commerce, or related discipline.
MBA (Operations/Supply Chain) preferred.
SAP MM Certification preferred.

Experience Requirements

3–6 years of SAP consulting experience.
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on SAP MM/Procurement experience.
Experience in SAP procurement, contract management, and inventory management projects.
Exposure to SAP IS-U environments and utility business processes preferred.
Experience in at least one SAP implementation or support project.
