Job Overview

This is a local-only position focusing on the booming Indian manufacturing market, where we offer a complete portfolio of industrial machinery .
As a Local Sales Executive, you will independently develop end-user factories, processing enterprises and trade distributors across India. You will leverage UBright's 10+ years of industry expertise and strong China manufacturing supply chain to promote our cost-effective Chinese machinery, focusing on sectors such as metal processing, mold manufacturing, auto parts production, heavy industry and precision engineering . Your core objective is to achieve individual and regional annual sales targets while building a robust local sales and distribution network in India.
Key Responsibilities
1. Local Market & Customer Development
○ Independently prospect and acquire new clients within India's manufacturing sector, covering mechanical processing, mold making, automotive components, hardware, heavy industry and precision engineering
○ Develop direct end-users and local distributor partnerships through strategic on-site visits, industry exhibition participation, and leveraging local business networks
○ Generate qualified leads and inquiries by positioning UBright as a trusted provider of Chinese machine tools with local Indian support
2. Full-range Product Sales & Solution Design
○ Proficiently promote UBright's complete product line: CNC machines, conventional/CNC lathes, vertical/horizontal machining centers, precision grinding machines, automatic straightening machines, broaching machines, whirling machines and customized special-purpose production equipment
○ Conduct detailed needs analysis to match customers' specific requirements for processing technology, production capacity, precision standards and budget constraints with the most suitable Chinese equipment models
○ Design comprehensive turnkey solutions that address clients' production challenges and improve operational efficiency
3. Pre-sales Technical & Commercial Consultation
○ Independently handle customer inquiries, conduct equipment specification presentations, perform cost-benefit analysis, arrange machine demonstrations and factory visits
○ Lead commercial negotiations, prepare competitive quotations and finalize contracts while clearly articulating UBright's value proposition
○ Address customer concerns regarding equipment performance, technical specifications, import procedures, installation, training and after-sales service
4. End-to-End Order Management
○ Manage the complete order lifecycle from initial inquiry through contract signing, deposit collection, production scheduling, sea freight coordination, customs clearance to final balance settlement
○ Maintain seamless communication with China Headquarters and India Branch to ensure timely updates on customer requirements, customization specifications and delivery timelines
○ Coordinate with technical team for pre-delivery inspections and installation planning to ensure smooth commissioning
5. Customer Relationship & Channel Management
○ Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals
○ Develop and support a network of local distributors, providing them with product training, marketing materials and sales support
○ Conduct regular market research to monitor trends, competitor activities, customer pain points and emerging opportunities in the Indian machine tool market
○ Submit comprehensive sales reports, market intelligence and performance updates to management on a regular basis
6. Brand Building & Market Promotion
○ Represent UBright at local machine tool exhibitions, industry seminars and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
○ Implement localized marketing initiatives to increase awareness of UBright's Chinese machinery solutions with local after-sales support
○ Create and maintain strong relationships with industry associations, technical institutions and key influencers in the Indian manufacturing sector
Job Requirements
1. Nationality & Language: Must be a local Indian resident. Fluent spoken and written English for business communication is essential
2. Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Marketing or related fields preferred
3. Industry Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of proven sales experience in machine tools, industrial equipment, automation machinery or metalworking solutions
○ Familiarity with Indian manufacturing procurement practices, market dynamics and regulatory requirements is highly desirable
4. Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of metalworking processes and equipment including lathes, machining centers, grinding machines, straightening machines, broaching machines and whirling machines
5. Core Competencies:
○ Strong business acumen with proven ability in cold calling, client acquisition and closing deals
○ Excellent negotiation skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
○ Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive environment
○ Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
○ Willingness to travel extensively across India to meet customers and develop the market
