Job Summary
The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) is responsible for defining and executing the organization's technology vision, strategy, and innovation roadmap. The CTO will lead all technology functions, including software development, product engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, enterprise architecture, quality assurance, DevOps, data management, artificial intelligence initiatives, and digital transformation. The role requires strong leadership to build high-performing technical teams, ensure the successful delivery of technology projects, and align technology investments with business objectives.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Define and implement the organization's technology vision and long-term roadmap.
- Align technology initiatives with business goals and growth strategies.
- Drive innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies.
- Advise the CEO/MD and senior leadership on technology trends and strategic investments.
- Establish technology governance, standards, and best practices.
- Build a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
2. Product & Software Development
- Oversee the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
- Promote Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
- Review technical designs and solution architectures.
- Drive continuous improvement in software quality, scalability, and performance.
3. Technology Architecture
- Define enterprise architecture standards.
- Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and highly available.
- Approve technology stacks, frameworks, and development standards.
- Guide the implementation of cloud-native and microservices architectures where appropriate.
- Ensure integration across internal and external systems.
4. Infrastructure & Information Security
- Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud environments, networks, and data centers.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity practices and disaster recovery planning.
- Implement data protection and information security policies.
- Monitor system availability, performance, and business continuity.
5. Project & Delivery Management
- Prioritize technology initiatives based on business objectives.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource utilization.
- Review project risks and mitigation plans.
- Ensure successful implementation and deployment of technology solutions.
- Establish project governance and reporting mechanisms.
6. Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing technology professionals.
- Develop leadership capabilities within engineering teams.
- Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
- Identify training and certification requirements.
- Foster a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
7. Quality Assurance & Technical Governance
- Define coding standards, review processes, and quality benchmarks.
- Ensure effective testing, automation, and release management.
- Monitor application performance and reliability.
- Drive continuous process improvements and technical audits.
8. Stakeholder & Client Management
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand technology requirements.
- Participate in client presentations and strategic discussions.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners.
- Provide executive-level reporting on technology initiatives and outcomes.
9. Budget & Resource Management
- Prepare and manage the annual technology budget.
- Optimize technology investments and operational costs.
- Evaluate software, hardware, and cloud procurement.
- Ensure efficient utilization of technical resources.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's Degree (M.Tech, MBA, MCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications (AWS, Azure, TOGAF, PMP, Scrum, CISSP, etc.) are an added advantage.
Experience
- 15–20+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- Minimum 8–10 years in senior technical leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading large-scale software development and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, and product engineering.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
