Job Title: Chef de Partie (CDP) – Continental

Location: Purple Elephant Hotels & Experiences, Kochi

Department: Kitchen / Food Production

Reports To: Executive Chef / Sous Chef

Job Summary

Purple Elephant Hotels & Experiences is seeking a skilled and passionate Continental Chef de Partie (CDP) to lead the Continental section of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality continental dishes, maintaining food safety standards, controlling food costs, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. citeturn0search2turn0search5

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Continental kitchen section and ensure smooth daily operations.

Prepare and present continental dishes as per standard recipes and quality standards.

Maintain mise en place and ensure readiness for service.

Monitor food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation.

Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of food products.

Minimize food wastage and support cost-control initiatives.

Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.

Supervise, train, and guide Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants.

Monitor stock levels and coordinate purchase requirements with the Executive Chef.

Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.

Support menu planning, recipe standardization, and new dish development. team management skills.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
