Job Description: Ecommerce Executive

About Saraaya

Saraaya is a D2C premium brand in home decor category, We're a fast-growing, founder-led brand looking for someone who wants to learn and grow across ecommerce, marketing, and customer experience.

Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Ecommerce Executive to manage day-to-day ecommerce operations and social media for Saraaya. This is a broad, execution-focused role suited to someone early in their career who is organized, digitally savvy, and comfortable juggling multiple platforms and priorities in a small, fast-moving team.

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce Operations

Manage the Ecommerce store — product listings, pricing, inventory updates, and catalog accuracy
Track and coordinate order processing, shipping, and fulfillment with logistics partners
Monitor stock levels and flag low-inventory or fast-moving SKUs (e.g., Family Pack)
Handle returns, replacements, and order-related issue resolution
Maintain basic sales and performance trackers/reports

Social Media & Content

Manage day-to-day posting across Instagram, Facebook, and other brand social channels
Coordinate content calendars in line with brand campaigns and promotions
Support influencer/creator coordination — briefs, content tracking, follow-ups
Engage with comments, DMs, and community interactions in the brand's voice
Assist with basic creative asset organization (images, reels, captions)

Customer Communication

Manage WhatsApp and other customer communication channels in a warm, premium, customer-first tone
Respond to customer queries related to orders, products, and general support
Escalate complex issues to the founder/relevant team member

Marketing Support

Assist with basic Meta Ads operations (creative uploads, campaign monitoring, reporting) as needed
Support execution of marketing and promotional campaigns across platforms
Coordinate with external vendors/freelancers (designers, photographers, agencies) as required

Requirements

0–2 years of experience in ecommerce, D2C, digital marketing, or social media (internships count)
Familiarity with Shopify/ Amazon/ Flipkart or similar ecommerce platforms (or strong willingness to learn quickly)
Comfortable with Instagram/Facebook business tools; basic understanding of Meta Ads is a plus
Strong written communication skills — able to write in a brand-appropriate tone
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Basic proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and tools like Canva
Self-starter attitude — comfortable working in a small, founder-led team with high ownership

Good to Have

Prior experience with D2C or home decor/lifestyle ecommerce brands
Experience coordinating with influencers/creators
Basic photo/video editing skills
