We are now looking for an SEO Content & AI Growth Specialist to help us build a strong organic traffic engine using AI-assisted content creation, SEO strategy, and conversion-focused content marketing.
Role Overview
This role is not simply an AI writing job.
We are looking for someone who can use AI tools effectively to produce high-quality SEO content at scale, while also applying strong judgement in keyword research, content planning, fact-checking, editing, internal linking, and performance tracking.
You will be responsible for creating and improving SEO content that attracts qualified buyers and sellers to GEMGEM, especially in the US market.

Key Responsibilities
1. SEO Content Strategy
- Research keywords, search intent, competitors, and content opportunities.
- Build and maintain an SEO content calendar.
- Identify high-value topics for buyers, sellers, and jewellery comparison searches.
- Prioritise content based on traffic potential, ranking difficulty, commercial intent, and relevance to GEMGEM.
2. AI-Assisted Content Production
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar tools to assist with research, outlines, drafts, FAQs, meta descriptions, and content variations.
- Edit and improve AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, originality, readability, and brand trust.
- Produce high-quality long-form SEO articles, comparison pages, landing pages, and educational content.
- Avoid generic, low-quality AI content that does not create real value.
3. Jewellery & Marketplace Content Quality
- Fact-check claims related to diamonds, gemstones, authentication, resale value, jewellery condition, buyer protection, selling process, shipping, and marketplace policies.
- Work with internal jewellery experts when technical validation is required.
- Ensure content reflects GEMGEM’s positioning: authenticated pre-owned fine jewellery, natural diamonds/gemstones, buyer protection, seller support, and marketplace trust.
4. On-Page SEO Optimisation
- Optimise article titles, meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal links, FAQs, image alt text, and call-to-action sections.
- Improve internal linking between articles, product pages, category pages, and seller pages.
- Suggest improvements to article/page templates where needed.
- Support schema markup recommendations where relevant.
5. Content Refresh & Performance Improvement
- Monitor existing articles and update them regularly.
- Improve underperforming pages based on Google Search Console and analytics data.
- Refresh older content with better structure, clearer comparisons, stronger CTAs, updated facts, and better internal links.
- Track ranking changes, impressions, clicks, and conversions.
6. Analytics & Reporting
Requirements
Must-Have
- Strong English writing and editing skills, especially for US audiences.
- Practical SEO experience, including keyword research, search intent analysis, on-page SEO, and internal linking.
- Experience using AI tools for content creation and research.
- Ability to turn AI-generated drafts into polished, useful, trustworthy content.
- Good understanding of ecommerce, marketplaces, or commercial-intent SEO.
- Ability to analyse content performance using Google Search Console and/or GA4.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to fact-check claims.
- Able to work independently and consistently produce high-quality output.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in jewelry, luxury goods, diamonds, watches, fashion, resale, or marketplace businesses.
- Experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, SurferSEO, Frase, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with comparison-style SEO pages and buyer-intent landing pages.
- Basic understanding of schema markup and technical SEO.
- Experience writing for US consumers.
- Experience improving conversion from content pages.
