Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Develop custom WordPress websites from Figma, Adobe XD, or design mockups.
Build responsive, fast-loading, and SEO-friendly websites.
Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
Develop custom themes and plugins whenever required.
Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRMs, chat systems, and other external services.
Create and manage WooCommerce websites and e-commerce functionalities.
Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, performance, and security.
Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts.
Perform website migrations, backups, updates, and maintenance.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and digital marketing teams for smooth project execution.
Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills & Experience

1–3 years of experience in WordPress development.
Strong proficiency in:
WordPress CMS
PHP
HTML5
CSS3
JavaScript
jQuery
MySQL
Experience with WooCommerce development and customization.
Strong knowledge of Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or similar page builders.
Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types (CPT), and custom taxonomies.
Knowledge of website optimization, caching, image optimization, and Core Web Vitals.
Experience integrating payment gateways, forms, APIs, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other third-party services.
Familiarity with Git and version control.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Shopify or other CMS platforms is an added advantage.
Knowledge of on-page SEO and technical SEO best practices.
Experience with cPanel, Hostinger, GoDaddy, Cloudflare, DNS management, SSL, and website deployment.
Familiarity with Figma and UI implementation.
Basic understanding of React.js or modern frontend frameworks is a plus.
