Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Payments Engineering team, working on a high-volume payment gateway platform. This role blends hands-on development, production support, and technical leadership, with deep involvement in payment network integrations and systems modernization.

Experiance : 5+ Years

Key Responsibilities

Develop and support payment gateway integrations, resolving merchant integration issues, transaction failures, and production bugs on a high-volume platform
Design and implement integrations with external payment networks and financial systems, covering authorization, reversal, refund, and settlement flows.
Lead modernization initiatives, re-architecting legacy Windows Services into scalable ASP.NET Core microservices.
Support merchant UAT and production onboarding for payment gateway integrations.
Manage payment network certificate renewals (EMVCO, Mastercard, Visa LOA) and ensure ongoing compliance with network requirements.
Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance during requirement analysis, design, and implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in .NET / ASP.NET Core development, with proven experience building or maintaining microservices.
Hands-on experience with payment gateway systems, transaction processing, and financial system integrations.
Familiarity with payment network standards and certifications (EMVCO, Mastercard, Visa) is highly desirable.
Experience providing production support in a high-availability, high-volume environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex transaction and integration issues.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
Excellent communication skills, with experience supporting external merchant/client onboarding

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per month
