Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive with a strong background in the IT or software industry. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in acquiring new clients, managing existing client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and generating revenue through software development and IT service sales.
The successful candidate should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, along with a deep understanding of software development services and technology solutions. This role requires a proactive professional who can represent Nextidat Technology in the market, build long-term client relationships, and consistently achieve business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, generate, and convert new business opportunities within domestic and international markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Promote and sell the company's software development services, IT solutions, and technology products.
- Develop strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer requirements, and emerging business opportunities.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, online platforms, events, and strategic outreach.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle, including lead generation, client meetings, solution presentations, proposal preparation, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Understand client business requirements and collaborate with technical teams to propose customized software solutions.
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, Statements of Work (SOWs), and project estimates.
- Coordinate with project managers and delivery teams to ensure seamless project initiation and client satisfaction.
- Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and additional project engagements.
- Represent the company during client meetings, technology events, exhibitions, and business networking opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market developments to identify competitive opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales and business development targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA is an added advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in Business Development, IT Sales, Software Sales, or Client Acquisition within a software development or IT services company.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring software development projects and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, web technologies, mobile applications, cloud solutions, enterprise software, SaaS products, and IT consulting services.
- Experience selling custom software development services, digital transformation solutions, or managed IT services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales management tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, business presentations, and industry events when required.
