Key Responsibilities as a Technical Business Developer
Identifying and evaluating suitable job postings on Upwork
Communicating with clients to gather project requirements and provide project updates.
Negotiating contract terms and conditions on behalf of the company.
Monitoring and analyzing competitor activity on Upwork to ensure the company remains competitive.
Collaborating with the team to ensure that proposals are consistent with the company’s branding and messaging.
Generate new business leads from platforms like Upwork, Freelancer.com, Fiverr, Guru, Toptal and similar marketplace platforms.
Understand the technology requirements of potential clients and propose appropriate solutions via Zoom/Google Meet Video calls.

Collaborate with the technical team to address complex technical challenges and provide tailored solutions to clients.
Work with the technical team to ensure clients’ requirements are accurately translated into robust solutions.
Manage client relationships from initial contact to solution delivery.

Track and report on business development activities, sales targets, and key performance indicators.
