Digital Marketing & Growth Specialist – Freelance / Remote

Organisation: Private Online Clinic
Location: Remote – India
Engagement: Freelance / Part-Time Contract
Pay: According to experience and demonstrated capability

About the Role

A private online clinic is looking for an experienced, hands-on Digital Marketing & Growth Specialist to develop its digital presence and support sustainable growth.

This is not primarily a social-media posting role.

We are looking for someone who understands digital customer acquisition and can demonstrate how SEO, Google Ads, content, analytics, landing pages and other digital channels can work together to generate measurable enquiries and conversions.

The successful candidate should be commercially focused, analytical and capable of independently managing digital marketing activity rather than simply implementing instructions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement an overall digital marketing and growth strategy.
Plan, manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns, particularly high-intent Search campaigns.
Undertake keyword research and competitor analysis.
Develop and implement on-page, off-page and technical SEO strategies.
Improve the organic search visibility of key service pages.
Manage Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
Establish and maintain accurate conversion and event tracking.
Analyse the customer enquiry and booking journey and identify opportunities for improvement.
Recommend and support the development of high-converting landing pages.
Liaise with website developers where technical or design changes are required.
Develop an SEO and content strategy.
Support appropriate Meta/Facebook/Instagram advertising where relevant.
Support organic social-media strategy and content planning.
Monitor campaign performance and continually optimise advertising expenditure.
Produce clear performance reports covering expenditure, enquiries, conversions, cost per enquiry/acquisition and recommendations.
Research competitors and identify new digital growth opportunities.
Maintain appropriate professional standards when marketing healthcare-related services.
Maintain confidentiality and handle information appropriately.

Essential Experience and Skills

At least 3 years of practical digital marketing experience is preferred.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads, particularly Search campaigns.
Strong knowledge of SEO, including:
Keyword research
On-page SEO
Technical SEO
Content optimisation
Link-building/off-page SEO
Experience using Google Analytics 4.
Experience using Google Tag Manager.
Experience using Google Search Console.
Good understanding of conversion tracking and attribution.
Experience with landing-page optimisation and conversion-rate optimisation.
Ability to interpret campaign data and make decisions based on performance.
Experience independently managing advertising budgets.
Excellent written English.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Good communication skills and ability to work directly with senior management.

What We Are Looking For

We are interested in measurable marketing outcomes, rather than activity for its own sake.

The successful freelancer should be able to demonstrate how their work contributes to:

Increased relevant website traffic
Improved search-engine visibility
Increased appropriate enquiries
Improved conversion rates
More effective use of paid advertising
Lower cost per qualified enquiry or acquisition
Sustainable long-term digital growth

Metrics such as impressions, followers and likes are useful, but they should not be the primary measure of success.

Working Arrangement

This is a remote freelance position.

The role is initially expected to be part-time, with working hours agreed according to the requirements of the organisation and the experience of the successful candidate.

The successful candidate should be available for agreed online meetings and should be comfortable working independently.

There is potential for a longer-term engagement for the right person.

Advertising expenditure and other approved marketing costs will be separate from the freelancer's professional fee.

Remuneration

Pay will be according to experience, demonstrated expertise and previous results.

Candidates should state their expected monthly freelance fee when applying.

A performance-related component may also be considered subsequently against clearly agreed and measurable marketing KPIs.

Your current freelance commitments.
Your approximate weekly availability.
Your expected monthly fee.

Selection Process

Applications will initially be reviewed based on relevant experience, evidence of hands-on campaign management and measurable results.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview.

Candidates may also be asked to discuss how they would approach the first 90 days of digital marketing for a growing private online clinic.
