About the Role
La Mansion is looking for a responsible and organized Store Keeper to manage the day-to-day store operations and ensure the timely availability of materials required for banquet events and daily operations.
The Store Keeper will be responsible for receiving, checking, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory, while ensuring proper stock records, stock accuracy, and minimum wastage. The role requires close coordination with the kitchen, service, housekeeping, maintenance, purchase, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities1. Store & Inventory Management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
- Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Check quantity, quality, specifications, and condition of materials received.
- Properly store and arrange all items in designated locations.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) wherever applicable.
- Monitor slow-moving, fast-moving, damaged, expired, and obsolete stock.
- Ensure proper identification and labeling of all materials.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the store.
2. Banquet & Event Requirements
- Ensure timely availability of materials required for weddings, parties, conferences, and other events.
- Issue materials to departments based on authorized requisitions.
- Coordinate with the operations team regarding upcoming event requirements.
- Maintain adequate stock of frequently used banquet consumables and operational supplies.
- Prepare materials in advance based on event schedules and requirements.
- Ensure smooth material movement before, during, and after events.
3. Crockery, Cutlery & Banquet Items
- Maintain proper records of crockery, cutlery, glassware, serving equipment, buffet equipment, and other banquet items, wherever applicable.
- Issue and receive banquet items against proper records.
- Monitor breakage, damage, loss, and shortages.
- Maintain separate records for damaged or unusable items.
- Coordinate with the concerned department for reconciliation after events.
4. Consumables & General Supplies
- Manage stock of housekeeping supplies, cleaning materials, stationery, guest supplies, maintenance items, packaging materials, and other operational consumables.
- Ensure proper storage of all materials according to their nature and usage.
- Monitor consumption patterns and highlight unusual or excessive consumption.
5. Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records.
- Record all inward and outward movements of materials.
- Prepare Goods Received Notes (GRNs), material issue slips, and other relevant store documents.
- Maintain purchase invoices, delivery challans, requisitions, and supporting documents.
- Update stock records regularly and ensure physical stock matches system/register records.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports as required.
6. Stock Verification & Control
- Conduct regular physical stock counts.
- Participate in monthly/periodic stock audits.
- Investigate and report discrepancies, shortages, damages, or excess stock.
- Maintain proper controls to minimize pilferage, wastage, and unnecessary consumption.
- Ensure all material issues are properly authorized and documented.
- Report stock shortages and upcoming requirements to the concerned manager.
7. Coordination with Departments
- Coordinate with Purchase, Kitchen, F&B Service, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Accounts, and Operations teams.
- Communicate material shortages and urgent requirements promptly.
- Support the purchase team by providing accurate stock and reorder information.
- Coordinate with vendors during deliveries when required.
- Ensure materials are available as per operational requirements.
8. Store Safety & Hygiene
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
- Follow proper storage practices for different categories of materials.
- Ensure safe stacking and handling of goods.
- Prevent damage caused by moisture, heat, pests, improper stacking, or mishandling.
- Follow company safety, security, hygiene, and operational procedures.
- Ensure restricted or valuable items are properly secured.
9. Event Closing & Reconciliation
- Receive unused materials returned after events.
- Check returned items for quantity, condition, breakage, or damage.
- Update stock records after each event.
- Report shortages, breakages, or unexplained losses to the concerned manager.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of event-related materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in store/inventory operations.
- Experience in a hotel, banquet, restaurant, catering, hospitality, or event venue will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Good understanding of receiving, issuing, storing, and maintaining materials.
- Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel and inventory/store software.
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy events.
- Honest, disciplined, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as required by banquet events.

Working Conditions
The role involves regular movement within the store and operational areas and may require lifting, shifting, and arranging materials. The Store Keeper must be prepared to work extended or flexible hours during weddings, large events, weekends, and peak banquet operations.
Preferred Candidate: Candidates with experience in banquet, hotel, catering, restaurant, or event-company stores will be preferred.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
