MERN Stack Developer | Work From Office | Ahmedabad |

reverseBits is seeking a passionate MERN Stack Developer to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with 1+ years of professional experience (excluding internships) in building web applications using React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.

The ideal candidate should have strong JavaScript fundamentals, a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, and experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional web application features.
Develop and maintain frontend applications using React.js.
Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
Work with MongoDB and MySQL databases for application development and data management.
Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and reusable code following development best practices.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards.
Assist in maintaining production applications and resolving support-related issues.
Collaborate with the DevOps team during deployments and release activities.
Actively utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Windsurf, or similar platforms to improve productivity, assist with debugging, testing, documentation, code reviews, and development workflows.
Validate AI-generated solutions and ensure code quality, maintainability, security, and adherence to engineering best practices.
Continuously learn and stay updated with modern web technologies, development practices, and AI-assisted software engineering workflows.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
1+ years of professional software development experience (excluding internships) in the MERN stack.
Good understanding of JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
Hands-on experience with MongoDB is mandatory.
Basic understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
Familiarity with database concepts and working knowledge of MongoDB and MySQL.
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
Understanding of asynchronous programming and API communication.
Knowledge of TypeScript fundamentals, including types, interfaces, and basic TypeScript development concepts.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Windsurf, or similar platforms as part of the software development workflow.
Ability to leverage AI tools for code generation, debugging, testing, documentation, refactoring, and problem-solving while maintaining engineering standards and code quality.
Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts such as JWT.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Exposure to TypeScript-based projects.
Exposure to microservices architecture.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Experience with Docker or containerized development environments.
Personal projects, open-source contributions, or AI-powered application development experience.
