Business Development Intern – IT Services

Company: Codepillars
Job Type: Internship
Work Mode: Work From Home / Remote
Experience: 0–6 Months
Duration: 3 Months

Compensation: You will start getting the stipend of 5000₹ after successfully completing the internship of 3 months and if you close any project then you will get 5% incentive on every successful closure.
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

About the Internship

Codepillars is looking for a Business Development Intern who is interested in IT services sales and wants to gain practical experience in client acquisition, lead generation, cold calling, LinkedIn prospecting, and deal closure.

The ideal candidate should have an interest in selling technology services such as website development, web applications, mobile app development, UI/UX design, and other IT solutions.

This opportunity is specifically for freshers and candidates with up to 6 months of experience. Candidates without prior professional sales experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and generate potential clients for IT development services.
Find relevant project opportunities through LinkedIn and other online platforms.
Conduct cold calling and outbound outreach to potential clients.
Understand client requirements and identify suitable solutions.
Communicate with prospects professionally through calls, LinkedIn, email, and other channels.
Generate leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Schedule meetings and discussions with potential clients.
Prepare and share proposals and quotations with clients.
Follow up consistently with prospects.
Negotiate with clients and work towards closing deals.
Maintain records of leads, conversations, follow-ups, and opportunities.
Coordinate with the technical team to understand project requirements and prepare appropriate proposals.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential and existing clients.

You will primarily be involved in business development for services such as:

Website Development
Web Application Development
Mobile App Development
Full Stack Development
UI/UX Design

Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Interest in IT services sales and business development.
Basic understanding of web and mobile application development.
Willingness to learn about technology services and understand client requirements.
Comfortable with cold calling and client communication.
Ability to research and identify potential clients on LinkedIn.
Good follow-up and negotiation skills.
Confidence in communicating with business owners and decision-makers.
Goal-oriented approach with the ability to work independently.
Basic knowledge of LinkedIn, email communication, and online lead generation is preferred.

Internship & Incentive Structure

You will start getting the stipend of 5000₹ after successfully completing the internship of 3 months and if you close any project then you will get 5% incentive on every successful closure.

After successfully completing the 3-month internship, you will start receiving a ₹5,000 monthly stipend, subject to your performance and continuation with the company.

In addition to the stipend, you will receive a 5% incentive on every deal successfully closed by you.

For example, if you successfully close a ₹1,00,000 project, you will receive a ₹5,000 incentive for that deal.

The incentive will be applicable to deals that are successfully closed and meet the company's payment and project confirmation requirements.

Performance Evaluation

During the internship, your lead generation, client communication, consistency, follow-up, sales approach, ability to generate opportunities, and deal-closing performance will be evaluated.

Candidates who demonstrate strong performance and contribute effectively to the company's business development efforts may be considered for a long-term/full-time opportunity with Codepillars.
