WE ARE HIRING – LOUNGE MANAGER

Location: Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh
Company: Ten11 Hospitality Pvt. Ltd.
Position: Lounge Manager
Department: Operations / Hospitality
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Work Schedule: Shift-based, including weekends & holidays

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Lounge Manager to independently manage the day-to-day operations of our Tirupati Lounge.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth lounge operations, excellent guest experience, team performance, food & beverage service, hygiene standards, inventory control, staff discipline, and compliance with company and airport/location requirements.

The candidate should be a strong people manager with excellent communication skills and hands-on experience in airport lounge, hospitality, hotel, restaurant, airline, or premium F&B operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the lounge.
Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all lounge activities.
Maintain high standards of guest service, hospitality and customer satisfaction.
Welcome and interact with guests and ensure a premium guest experience.
Handle guest queries, complaints, feedback and service recovery professionally.
Supervise and motivate the lounge team, including F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping and support staff.
Prepare staff duty rosters and manage manpower deployment according to business requirements.
Monitor attendance, grooming, discipline and performance of employees.
Conduct daily briefings and ensure proper communication across shifts.
Ensure food and beverage services are maintained as per company quality standards.
Monitor food quality, presentation, availability and replenishment.
Ensure proper hygiene, cleanliness and overall presentation of the lounge.
Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage and consumption.
Coordinate with purchase, vendors, housekeeping, kitchen/F&B and other support teams.
Ensure proper implementation of company SOPs, policies and operational standards.
Monitor lounge equipment, furniture, amenities and other facilities and report maintenance requirements.
Coordinate with airport authorities, clients, vendors and other stakeholders, wherever applicable.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety, hygiene, security and operational requirements.
Maintain daily operational reports, stock records, attendance records and other required documentation.
Monitor revenue/cost-related operational parameters and minimize unnecessary wastage.
Conduct regular checks and audits to ensure service and operational standards are maintained.
Identify operational issues and take timely corrective action.
Escalate critical operational, employee or guest-related issues to senior management.
Ensure proper handover between shifts and maintain continuity of operations.
Train and develop team members to improve service quality and operational efficiency.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent guest handling and customer service skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of F&B and hospitality operations.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Good understanding of hygiene, grooming and service standards.
Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of MS Office and basic reporting.
Ability to manage shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Professional grooming and personality.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Aviation Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
4–7 years of experience in hospitality operations, preferably with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
Experience in Airport Lounge / Airline / Hotel / Restaurant / Premium F&B / QSR will be preferred.
Candidates with experience in managing high-volume customer-facing operations will be given preference.
Tirupati / Andhra Pradesh local candidates or candidates willing to relocate are preferred.
Knowledge of Telugu and English will be an advantage.
