Full job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Head to oversee and optimize the organization's end-to-end operations, including warehouse management, inventory control, logistics, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, improve productivity, ensure timely order fulfillment, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities Operations Management

Lead and oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Monitor operational performance and drive continuous process improvements.
Prepare and manage operational budgets while ensuring cost optimization.
Establish and enforce operational policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Procurement, HR, and other departments to ensure seamless business operations.
Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, dispatch, and returns.
Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock audits and cycle counts.
Optimize warehouse layout and storage utilization for maximum efficiency.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal inventory.
Ensure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and dispatch.
Implement warehouse best practices to improve productivity, accuracy, and safety.
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse infrastructure and equipment.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop operations and warehouse teams.
Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Identify training needs and support employee development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
7–10 years of experience in operations, warehouse, and supply chain management, including leadership experience.

Required Skills

Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
