Job Title: Jr. Graphic Designer

Job Summary:Uni Seoul is seeking a highly creative and experienced

Jr. Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team in Pune. This pivotal role will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the production of high-quality visual assets across all our brand touchpoints. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand building, visual storytelling, and a deep understanding of current design trends in the lifestyle and retail sectors. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and elevating Uni Seoul's distinctive visual identity, captivating our audience, and supporting our marketing and product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Concept Development & Execution:

Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative and impactful visual designs that align with Uni Seoul's brand aesthetics and marketing objectives.
Create compelling graphics for a wide range of media, including digital marketing (social media, website banners, email campaigns, online ads), print collateral (brochures, flyers, in-store signage, packaging), and product visuals.
Translate marketing briefs and business goals into engaging visual solutions that resonate with our target audience.
Stay abreast of global and local design trends, especially within the lifestyle, retail, and Korean culture spheres (e.g., bold minimalism, maximalism, retro-futurism, playful typography, AI-powered design).

Brand Identity & Consistency:

Serve as a brand guardian, ensuring strict adherence to Uni Seoul's brand guidelines across all visual communications.
Contribute to the evolution and refinement of our brand identity, visual language, and style guides as the brand grows.
Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand experience across all channels.

Digital & Social Media Design:

Design engaging visual content optimized for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), including static posts, carousels, stories, and potentially basic motion graphics/short video edits.
Create attractive and user-friendly web graphics for our e-commerce platforms, including landing pages, promotional banners, and product imagery enhancements.

Packaging Design:

Design aesthetically pleasing and highly functional product packaging that stands out in retail environments and communicates brand messaging effectively.
Work closely with product development and supply chain teams to ensure designs are production-ready and align with material and printing capabilities.

Collaboration & Leadership:

Work collaboratively with marketing managers, copywriters, product teams, and external vendors (photographers, printers, etc.).
Provide creative direction and constructive feedback, potentially mentoring junior designers or interns if the team expands.
Present design concepts to stakeholders and articulate design rationale effectively.

Project Management & Quality Control:

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely delivery within set deadlines.
Maintain high design standards, ensuring accuracy, creativity, and attention to detail in all deliverables.
Oversee file preparation for print and digital production, ensuring technical specifications are met.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Minimum 2-4 years of proven professional experience as a Graphic Designer, with a significant portion of that experience in a Senior role, preferably within a retail, lifestyle, FMCG, or e-commerce brand.
Exceptional portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating strong conceptualization skills, brand-building expertise, and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) and/or UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) is a significant plus.
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, layout, and composition.
Proven ability to translate marketing strategies and business objectives into compelling visual designs.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
A keen interest in lifestyle brands, Korean culture, and emerging design trends.
Experience in vendor coordination for print and production.
