About FareHawker

FareHawker is a specialized travel service provider focused on airline group flight bookings for corporate groups, travel agencies, schools and universities, pilgrimage groups, destination weddings, MICE movements, sports teams, tour operators and other large-group travel requirements.

We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Air Ticket – Airline Group Booking Expert who can manage group flight enquiries from initial quotation through booking, payment, name submission and final travel coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Handle domestic and international airline group booking enquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
Understand client requirements including destination, travel dates, number of passengers, preferred airlines, baggage requirements and budget.
Coordinate with airlines, airline group desks, GDS systems and suppliers to obtain competitive group fares and booking conditions.
Prepare and share professional flight quotations with clients.
Follow up with prospective clients and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
Explain group booking policies including:
Seat blocking
Deposit requirements
Payment deadlines
Name submission deadlines
Name change policies
Cancellation and refund conditions
Baggage allowance
Group booking terms
Negotiate with airlines and suppliers wherever possible to secure competitive fares and favourable group conditions.
Manage booking documentation, PNRs, passenger lists and payment records accurately.
Coordinate passenger name submission as per airline deadlines and ensure names match valid government-issued identification/passports.
Handle booking modifications, cancellations, refunds, rescheduling and airline schedule changes.
Maintain continuous communication with customers before, during and after the booking process.
Coordinate with internal operations, accounts and ticketing teams for smooth booking execution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with:
Travel agents
Tour operators
Corporate clients
Schools and educational institutions
MICE companies
Wedding planners
Religious and pilgrimage operators
Sports and event organizers
Generate repeat business through professional service and relationship management.
Maintain daily records of enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, confirmed bookings and sales performance.
Achieve assigned sales, revenue and booking conversion targets.

Candidate Requirements

Graduate or diploma holder, preferably in Travel & Tourism, Aviation, Hospitality or a related field.
Prior experience in a travel agency, airline ticketing company, OTA, corporate travel company or airline group desk will be preferred.
Experience in airline group ticketing/group booking will be a strong advantage.
Good understanding of domestic and international airline booking procedures.
Familiarity with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre is preferred.
Basic understanding of airline fare rules, PNR management, ticketing, refunds and cancellations.
Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
Excellent sales, negotiation and customer-handling skills.
Ability to handle multiple group bookings and payment deadlines simultaneously.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, email communication and CRM systems.
Strong attention to detail, particularly while handling passenger names, travel dates and booking conditions.
Ability to work under pressure during urgent or large group movements.

Key Skills

Preferred Experience

1–3+ years of experience in travel sales, airline ticketing or group bookings is preferred.

Fresh candidates with strong communication, sales aptitude and knowledge of the travel industry may also be considered for junior positions.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be sales-driven, confident, organized and customer-oriented, with the ability to manage a group travel requirement from the first enquiry until successful completion of the journey.

The candidate should understand that group bookings require continuous follow-up, accurate coordination and strict adherence to airline deadlines.
