Summary
UST is looking for a Full Stack Engineer – AI Platform & Workflow Automation to design, develop, and operate an enterprise AI platform that enables business teams to build, deploy, and govern AI-powered workflows securely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python Full Stack Development, AWS cloud services, containerized applications, AI workflow automation, and MCP (Model Context Protocol) architectures. This role involves building reusable AI platform capabilities, integrating AI models and enterprise systems, implementing secure authentication, and enabling teams across Sales, Content Marketing, and Engineering to leverage AI agents safely.
The Opportunity
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in building the organization's internal AI platform that streamlines day-to-day operations through AI-powered workflows and automation.
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications and backend services using Python.
- Build and extend an enterprise AI platform for creating, deploying, and managing AI-powered workflows using FastMCP.
- Develop and manage infrastructure to host, deploy, and operate MCP servers.
- Build AI-powered applications, intelligent agents, workflow automation, and reusable platform capabilities.
- Design and implement secure authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms for AI workflows and enterprise resources.
- Integrate AI agents with internal applications, external APIs, enterprise tools, and AI model providers.
- Develop containerized applications using Docker and deploy them on AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, and AgentCore.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows.
- Work with relational databases using SQL for data integration, querying, and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Content Marketing, and Engineering to automate business workflows.
- Establish best practices for building, securing, deploying, monitoring, and operating enterprise AI workflows.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies, SDKs, and developer tools to improve platform capabilities.
What you need
- Strong Full Stack Development experience using Python.
- Strong SQL skills for querying, data analysis, and database integration.
- Experience with Docker and containerized workloads.
- Hands-on experience deploying applications on AWS.
- Experience with AWS ECS, Lambda, AgentCore, or similar cloud-native services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows.
- Experience building AI-powered applications, AI agents, workflow automation, or intelligent business solutions.
- Experience developing or integrating MCP servers, tool-calling frameworks, or plugin-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AI model APIs and SDKs such as:
- FastMCP
- OpenAI SDK
- Claude SDK
- Vercel AI SDK
- AWS Strands
- Active usage of AI-assisted development tools including Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode.
- Experience implementing authentication, authorization, identity management, and secure access control patterns.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, API integrations, and enterprise application architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Development with Python.
- Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Proven experience developing AI-powered applications or workflow automation platforms.
Experience working with modern AI SDKs, MCP architectures, and enterprise integrations is highly preferred.
