About the Company

LSD Productions Private Limited is a Kochi-based digital marketing, media, technology, influencer marketing, and content production company. We work with brands, artists, creators, businesses, and entertainment projects to develop impactful campaigns, communication strategies, and digital experiences.

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and well-connected PR & Communications Executive to manage media relations, corporate communications, brand publicity, event communication, and stakeholder engagement.

The candidate will be responsible for developing communication strategies, preparing press materials, coordinating with media professionals, managing public announcements, and strengthening the public image of the company and its associated brands and projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesPublic Relations

Develop and execute PR strategies for the company, clients, campaigns, events, and entertainment projects.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, media houses, influencers, creators, and industry professionals.
Coordinate press conferences, media interactions, interviews, product launches, events, and promotional activities.
Pitch relevant stories, announcements, interviews, and features to print, television, radio, digital, and regional media.
Maintain and regularly update the company’s media contact database.
Track media coverage and prepare PR performance reports.

Communications

Draft press releases, media notes, company announcements, speeches, presentations, newsletters, profiles, and official statements.
Ensure that all external communication follows the company’s brand voice and communication guidelines.
Coordinate communication between internal teams, clients, partners, artists, vendors, and external stakeholders.
Support senior management with official correspondence, presentations, and public communication.
Review communication materials for accuracy, tone, grammar, and brand consistency.

Brand and Reputation Management

Support the development and protection of the company’s corporate and public image.
Monitor media coverage, social conversations, and public sentiment related to the company and its projects.
Identify potential reputation risks and report them to management.
Assist with crisis communication and prepare appropriate responses when required.
Ensure sensitive and confidential information is handled professionally.

Campaigns and Events

Work closely with marketing, social media, influencer, design, and production teams.
Develop communication plans for brand campaigns, events, film projects, launches, and collaborations.
Coordinate media invitations, guest lists, press kits, event coverage, and post-event communication.
Support partnerships with brands, celebrities, influencers, creators, and industry organisations.
Follow up with media representatives and stakeholders before and after campaigns or events.

Required Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malayalam.
Strong press release, business communication, and content-writing abilities.
Good understanding of public relations, media relations, branding, and digital communication.
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with media and industry stakeholders.
Strong coordination, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and confidential information.
Good knowledge of social media platforms and current media trends.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and presentation tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field.
One to three years of relevant experience in public relations, communications, media, entertainment, events, advertising, or digital marketing.
Existing media contacts or experience coordinating with journalists and media houses will be an advantage.
Experience in entertainment, film, influencer marketing, lifestyle, or event communication will be preferred.
