Shree Ji Steel Private Limited is a growing company in the iron and steel industry, engaged in the manufacturing, trading, supply, and export of quality steel products. We serve customers across the construction, infrastructure, EPC, engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.

With a strong focus on quality, competitive pricing, reliable supply, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our sales team and looking for energetic, target-oriented professionals who can generate new business and develop long-term B2B customer relationships.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Field Sales Executive to develop new business, acquire B2B customers, and expand our market presence across Gujarat.

The candidate will be responsible for field visits, market mapping, lead generation, customer acquisition, enquiry generation, quotation follow-up, order conversion, and relationship management.

The ideal candidate should be confident in meeting customers directly, have strong communication and negotiation skills, and be willing to travel extensively across the assigned territory.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

Identify and acquire new B2B customers through field visits, market surveys, referrals, networking, and cold calling.
Regularly visit construction sites, EPC companies, contractors, builders, fabricators, manufacturers, infrastructure companies, and industrial buyers.
Promote the company's steel products and understand customer requirements, specifications, quantities, and delivery locations.
Generate qualified sales enquiries and convert leads into confirmed orders.
Achieve monthly sales, enquiry generation, customer acquisition, and collection-related targets.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
Identify new markets, industries, projects, and customer segments for business development.
Conduct regular market visits to understand demand, pricing, competitor activity, product availability, and customer requirements.
Identify upcoming projects and develop relationships with key decision-makers and purchase/procurement personnel.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Conduct regular customer visits to identify current and upcoming project requirements.
Meet Purchase Managers, Procurement Heads, Project Managers, Contractors, Owners, and other key decision-makers.
Follow up consistently on quotations, enquiries, purchase orders, and pending business opportunities.
Understand customer concerns and coordinate internally for timely resolution.
Provide customers with regular updates regarding order status, dispatch, and delivery.
Maintain professional relationships with customers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Collect market intelligence regarding competitor pricing, products, brands, payment terms, customer preferences, and market trends.

Sales Coordination

Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Logistics, Dispatch, Accounts, and Operations teams for smooth order execution.
Ensure timely submission of quotations and follow up until order confirmation.
Coordinate with customers regarding product specifications, quantity, delivery location, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Follow up with internal departments to ensure customer commitments are fulfilled within agreed timelines.
Coordinate with customers and internal teams until successful order completion.
Support the collection team by following up with customers for outstanding payments, wherever required.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

Maintain daily customer visit and sales activity reports.
Record customer meetings, calls, enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, and order status.
Update CRM with accurate customer information, leads, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the reporting manager.
Provide regular updates on market prices, competitor activities, new projects, customer requirements, and business opportunities.
Maintain an updated database of customers, prospects, contractors, dealers, fabricators, and industrial buyers.

Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification

Graduate in any discipline preferred.
Candidates with relevant B2B field-sales experience may also be considered based on their skills and market knowledge.

Required Skills

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Bengali.
Gujarati language knowledge will be an added advantage.
Strong negotiation, presentation, customer-handling, and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to generate business through direct field sales and customer meetings.
Knowledge of the steel, construction materials, industrial products, infrastructure, or building materials industry will be an advantage.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
Strong follow-up and territory-management skills.
Good planning, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Willingness to travel extensively across Gujarat.
Valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.

Experience

Field Sales: 1–3 years preferred.
B2B Sales: 1–3 years preferred.
Experience in steel, construction materials, industrial products, building materials, infrastructure, engineering, or related B2B industries will be an added advantage.
Candidates with an existing network among contractors, builders, fabricators, EPC companies, industrial buyers, or construction companies will be preferred.
