Full job description

Experience Band- 3-5 Years

Accounts

1) Updation of prevailing accounting systems and adhering to accounting standards and techniques.

2) Bank Reconciliations.

3) Preparation of cash flows and ensuring proper utilization of working capital.

4) Status of Utilization of Working Capital limits.

5) Verification & control over cash disbursements.

6) Preparation of items for the board/ Audit committee meetings.

7) Finalization of annual accounts.

8) Ensuring that all statutory registers/ records are properly maintained.

9) Implementation of SAP and its coordination.

10) Co-ordination with corperate & site offices for accounting matters.

11) Ensure preparation of monthly/ quarterly/ half yearly/ annual financial results.

12) Verification and reconciliation of accounts of debtors and creditors.

Daily Report

Review the Daily Report Format of the report of the department and strengthen the same if required.

Statutory Audit

1) Ensure audit of annual accounts on quarterly/ half yearly/ annual basis.

2) Appointment/Re-appointment of statutory auditors.

3) Reports/Accounts to be submitted to the audit committee/ Board.

Internal Audit

1) Ensure internal audit of all offices.

2) Appointment/ re-appointment.

3) Obtaining of reports.

4) Submission of reports to the Audit Committee/ Board.

5) Monitoring of offices of the company in respect of financial matters.

Tax Audit

1) Appointment of tax auditors.

2) Obtaining of tax audit report.

Budget

1) Preparation of budget andsubmission ofreview reports to the Board/ Audit Committee.

2) Monitoring of Budget matters.

Compliance to requirements agreed with the CDR-EG/ Lenders

1) Ensure that all reports/returns are timely submitted.

2) Obtaining of approvals from the CDR-EG/ Lenders as per agreements.

Imports

Take further actions based on plans/ budget formulated by the company.

Projects

1) Ensure monitoring from financial angle.

2) Follow up for dues with the clients.

3) To ensure raising of invoice on the customers.

Service

1) Ensure monitoring from financial angle.

2) Follow up for dues with the clients.

3) To ensure raising of invoice with the customers.

Payroll

1) Verification of salary sheet and ensuring that labour laws are adhered to at all offices of the company.

2) Deal with PF/ ESI matters.

3) Plan for tax deduction at source, its proper deduction and payment thereof from all payments released by the company to the employees.

Payments

1) Supervision & Scrutiny of Bills/ Invoices.

2) Release of payments.

Taxation

1) Preparation of Schedules and details in respect of assessment proceeding before all assessing/ appellate authorities.

2) Deduction of all relevant taxes as per present laws and deposit with the concerned authorities .

3) Ensuring timely filing of all Direct/Indirect tax returns and registration thereof.

4) Issue of Tax Deduction forms.

Interaction with Banks

1) Preparation of proposals/ enhancement of credit limits with banks.

2) Monitoring of limits , transfer of funds.

3) Obtaining of Bank Statements, remittance of payments, and reconciliation thereof.

4) Finding new sources of cost effective credit finance.

5) Suggesting new and innovative ways to reduce cost of funds.

Audit Committee Meetings

1) To participate in the meeting.

2) To comply with decisions made by the audit committee.

3) To submit reports/ information.

Reduction in Costs

1) To review and identify areas for cost reduction.

2) To initiate measures for cost reduction.

Housekeeping

Ensure Cleanliness in your area of work.

Streamlining & Simplification

Provide suggestions for the areas of work being dealt with so as to maintain/ achieve highest standards of quality in systems/ procedures.

Compliance to Statutory Requirements, systems & procedures.

1) Ensure compliances related to jobs being handled.

2) Ensure following of SOP’s related to Finance & Accounts and other Departments at all offices of the company.
