In addition to offering plant-based meal subscriptions and home delivery services, Copper + Cloves curates unique experiences like supper clubs, yoga brunches, and catering events. The company also collaborates with other chefs and wellness brands to inspire a wider connection to mindful eating and good nutrition. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and operationally driven Facility Manager to oversee the setup, upkeep and smooth functioning of our stores and operational spaces.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, proactive, hands-on and highly dependable Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, infrastructure and operational readiness of all Copper + Cloves outlets and facilities.
This role requires someone who can independently manage store maintenance, vendor coordination, equipment upkeep and preventive maintenance systems while ensuring minimal operational downtime across locations.
Key Responsibilities
Store Setup & Infrastructure
- Support and oversee new store setup requirements, including infrastructure readiness and operational coordination.
- Coordinate installation and setup of electricals, plumbing, fixtures, furniture and operational equipment.
- Ensure all outlets are operationally ready prior to launch and aligned with company standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, technicians and vendors during setup and maintenance work.
Facility Maintenance & Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operational upkeep of all outlets and operational spaces.
- Ensure timely completion of repair, servicing and maintenance work across all locations.
- Conduct regular inspections of stores, kitchens and operational infrastructure.
- Monitor the condition, functionality and lifespan of kitchen and operational equipment.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are implemented and followed consistently.
- Quickly identify and resolve operational maintenance concerns before they escalate.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and operational standards across all facilities.
Equipment & Asset Management
- Maintain records of all equipment, servicing schedules, warranties and maintenance history.
- Coordinate servicing and repairs of kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, plumbing systems, electrical fixtures and operational machinery.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely at all times.
- Monitor equipment performance and proactively recommend replacements or upgrades when required.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors and service providers for repairs, maintenance and installations.
- Track vendor timelines and ensure work completion within agreed timelines and standards.
- Source and coordinate cost-effective maintenance solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for operational efficiency and faster turnaround times.
Operational Efficiency & Compliance
- Ensure minimal operational downtime across all outlets through proactive planning and maintenance.
- Respond promptly to urgent operational breakdowns or maintenance emergencies.
- Ensure all facilities comply with operational safety, hygiene and maintenance standards.
- Support Management with infrastructure planning, budgeting and operational improvements.
- Maintain organised documentation and reporting related to maintenance activities and operational issues.
Pest Control, Hygiene & Deep Cleaning
- Oversee and maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and sanitation across all outlets and operational spaces.
- Implement and maintain structured deep cleaning schedules and rotational cleaning systems across stores and kitchen facilities.
- Coordinate pest control activities, preventive treatments and servicing requirements with external vendors.
- Ensure timely execution of pest control and deep cleaning procedures in compliance with operational and food safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs, records and documentation related to pest control, deep cleaning and hygiene checks.
- Procure and maintain appropriate equipment, storage systems and hygiene-related materials required for pest control and sanitation procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify hygiene concerns, pest risks or sanitation issues and ensure immediate corrective action.

- Strong working knowledge of electricals, plumbing, fixtures, furniture and equipment maintenance.
