We work with businesses across multiple industries to help them scale their online presence and marketplace operations. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior E-commerce Executive who can independently manage marketplace operations, drive sales growth, and optimize overall eCommerce performance.
Position Overview
The Senior E-commerce Executive will be responsible for managing and growing the company's presence across major online marketplaces and eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in marketplace management, catalog operations, inventory coordination, sales analysis, digital promotions, and customer experience management.
This role requires a proactive individual capable of handling end-to-end marketplace operations while identifying growth opportunities, implementing optimization strategies, and ensuring seamless execution of eCommerce activities.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Marketplace Management
- Manage and oversee daily operations across multiple eCommerce marketplaces including Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Meesho, JioMart, Shopify, WooCommerce, and other online sales channels.
- Ensure smooth functioning of marketplace accounts and maintain account health metrics.
- Monitor marketplace performance and take corrective actions to improve sales and operational efficiency.
- Handle marketplace escalations, compliance issues, policy violations, and seller support communications.
Product Catalog & Listing Management
- Create, upload, and maintain product listings across various marketplaces.
- Optimize product titles, descriptions, bullet points, keywords, attributes, and images for maximum visibility and conversion.
- Perform bulk product uploads and catalog updates.
- Ensure all product information remains accurate, complete, and compliant with marketplace guidelines.
- Coordinate with graphic designers and content teams for product creatives and enhanced content.
Inventory & Order Management
- Monitor inventory levels across all sales channels.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy and stock availability.
- Prevent stock-outs and overselling through effective inventory planning.
- Track order processing, fulfillment timelines, and shipment performance.
- Ensure timely resolution of order-related issues including cancellations, returns, replacements, and customer complaints.
Sales Growth & Performance Optimization
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales, conversion rates, and profitability.
- Analyze marketplace trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize pricing strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvement plans.
- Recommend new product opportunities and marketplace expansion initiatives.
Marketplace Advertising & Promotions
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns across marketplaces.
- Manage sponsored ads, product advertisements, and marketplace marketing activities.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize spending to maximize return on investment.
- Coordinate participation in marketplace sales events, seasonal promotions, and special campaigns.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and product performance.
- Monitor traffic, conversion rates, revenue, advertising metrics, and profitability.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations for management.
- Present business performance updates and growth plans to leadership.
Competitor & Market Research
- Conduct regular competitor analysis covering pricing, promotions, product assortment, and market positioning.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging marketplace opportunities.
- Identify gaps in the market and recommend strategic initiatives.
Customer Experience Management
- Ensure high customer satisfaction levels across all marketplaces.
- Monitor customer reviews, ratings, and feedback.
- Coordinate issue resolution to improve customer experience.
- Implement strategies to enhance seller ratings and marketplace reputation.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with procurement, warehouse, logistics, marketing, customer support, and management teams.
- Coordinate product launches and promotional activities.
- Ensure smooth communication between internal departments and external marketplace representatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of proven experience in eCommerce and marketplace operations.
- Strong understanding of online retail and marketplace ecosystems.
- Experience managing multiple marketplace accounts simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
