VMC Operator Job Description

Job Title: VMC Operator (Vertical Machining Center Operator)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled VMC Operator to set up, operate, and monitor Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for precision manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality components according to engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor VMC machines to manufacture parts as per specifications.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Set tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.
Perform basic machine setup and tool changes.
Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Maintain production records and quality documentation.
Follow safety procedures and workplace regulations.
Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of VMC machine operations.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques.
Understanding of machining processes and cutting tools.
Basic knowledge of CNC programming is an advantage.

Qualifications:

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Machinist, Turner, or related field.
1–5 years of experience operating VMC machines.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a CNC Operator to operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines efficiently and safely. The operator will produce precision components while maintaining quality and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC turning, milling, or machining center machines.
Load raw materials and ensure correct machine setup.
Monitor machine performance during production runs.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and job orders.
Measure and inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy.
Replace tools and adjust machine settings when required.
Report machine malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors.
Maintain production records and daily reports.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of CNC machine operations and machining processes.
Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Understanding of CNC programs and machine controls.
Strong attention to detail and quality.

Qualifications:

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Machinist, Turner, Fitter, or equivalent.
1–5 years of experience in CNC machine operation.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of G-code and M-code.
Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas controllers.
Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
