Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive, experienced, and result-oriented Bench Sales Recruiter to join our growing US IT Staffing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end marketing, placement, and redeployment of bench consultants across diverse technologies. This role requires strong vendor communication, relationship management, negotiation capability, and a solid understanding of US staffing processes, tax terms, and visa classifications.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a high sense of urgency, strong coordination abilities, and the capability to manage multiple consultants simultaneously. A proven track record of submissions, interview closures, and placements is essential.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Bench Consultant Marketing & Branding
- Market bench consultants including H1B, H4 EAD, L2 EAD, OPT, CPT, GC, and US Citizens to Tier-1 vendors, MSPs, implementation partners, and direct clients.
- Strategically position consultants based on market demand and hot technologies.
- Modify, enhance, format, and rewrite resumes to match client job descriptions.
- Provide interview preparation, technical briefing, and communication support to consultants.
2. Requirement Sourcing & Matching
- Source relevant job requirements daily from job portals, vendor lists, client networks, and internal teams.
- Review job descriptions thoroughly and match consultants based on skill set, experience, and project compatibility.
- Maintain a continuous pipeline of requirements for all active bench consultants.
- Achieve daily/weekly submission targets and maintain a strong submission ratio.
3. Vendor & Client Relationship Development
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with Tier-1 vendors, direct clients, and implementation partners.
- Expand the vendor network by daily outreach, cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn engagement.
- Understand vendor expectations, work cultures, and hiring patterns to improve placement outcomes.
- Maintain clear communication with vendors for requirement updates, candidate feedback, and follow-up.
4. Rate Negotiation & Closing
- Negotiate optimum pay rates with vendors, clients, and consultants while ensuring profitability and consultant satisfaction.
- Clearly explain tax terms including W2, C2C, and 1099, and guide consultants on employment structure.
- Handle contract negotiations, final offer alignment, and closure discussions with professionalism.
5. Interview Coordination & Follow-Up
- Schedule client interviews, manage calendar availability, and ensure smooth communication between all parties.
- Prepare consultants with interview guidelines and required project insights.
- Collect immediate feedback from vendors/clients and initiate next steps promptly.
- Support consultants through onboarding, start dates, documentation, background checks, and joining formalities.
6. ATS, CRM & Documentation Management
- Record all submissions, rejections, interviews, and placements in ATS/CRM tools.
- Maintain accurate and updated consultant availability, visa documents, project details, and marketing status.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports including submission volume, interviews lined up, and placements achieved.
- Maintain complete transparency and traceability for audits and internal reviews.
7. Market Intelligence & Strategic Contribution
- Stay updated with the US job market, trending technologies, seasonal demand, and vendor/client hiring cycles.
- Share insights with management on improving marketing strategies, pitch quality, and demand forecasting.
- Analyze market competition and recommend process enhancements to improve placement success rates.
8. Consultant Management & Redeployment
- Maintain strong rapport with consultants on bench and actively support them during job search.
- Monitor consultants nearing project completion and initiate early redeployment.
- Guide consultants on resume updates, communication improvements, and skill enhancement suggestions.
9. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with the Business Development, Recruitment, and Operations teams for seamless internal alignment.
- Participate in internal strategy meetings and contribute innovative ideas to improve overall departmental performance.
- Assist in expanding client portfolios by collaborating with sales teams when required.
10. Performance, Reporting & Compliance
- Meet or exceed monthly placement and submission KPIs.
- Ensure full compliance with US staffing norms, immigration guidelines, and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security for consultant and client information.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- 3–5 years of solid experience as a Bench Sales Recruiter in US IT Staffing.
- Proven success in consultant marketing, rate negotiation, and closing deals.
Technical Skills
- Good understanding of IT technologies, project terminologies, and technical skill sets.
- Hands-on experience with job portals: Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Indeed, TechFetch, etc.
- Proficiency with ATS, CRM, and other recruitment tools.
Industry Knowledge
- Strong understanding of US tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099).
- Familiarity with visa types, employment authorizations, and immigration processes.
Soft Skills
- Excellent English communication (verbal & written).
- Strong negotiation and client-handling capabilities.
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, IT, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Preferred Qualifications
- Established vendor/client network in the US staffing space.
- Experience working with high submission volume environments.
- Strong adaptability to dynamic market demands and shifting priorities.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
