Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Design Intern to join our team. The intern will work closely with product managers, developers, and senior designers to create intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing digital experiences for web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows.
Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to improve product usability.
Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Maintain and contribute to design systems and UI component libraries.
Create visually appealing graphics, icons, and illustrations when required.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and product discussions.
Perform usability testing and suggest design improvements.
Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, design thinking, and user-centered design.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping techniques.
Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first design principles.
Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Portfolio showcasing design projects (academic, personal, or freelance work) is preferred.

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frontend development concepts.
Experience with design systems and component-based design.
Familiarity with usability testing and analytics tools.
