Job Description

We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team in Surat, Gujarat. This role focuses on outbound sales for IT services, targeting businesses that need custom software development, web applications, mobile apps, automation tools, browser extensions, and other technology solutions.

In this role, you will connect with potential clients through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting, initiating conversations with decision-makers across international markets. You will identify real business needs, gather project requirements, and collaborate with our technical team to prepare accurate proposals.

As part of the outbound sales in Surat, you will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closure, while building strong, long-term client relationships. If you have experience in IT business development and enjoy driving meaningful conversations that lead to successful projects, this role offers the ownership, growth, and global exposure you’re looking for.

Key Responsibilities as a Business Development Executive (Outbound Sales)

Identify and target potential clients for custom software development through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and structured prospect research.
Build and manage outbound lead lists using tools like Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, and industry databases.
Initiate cold conversations with founders, CTOs, and decision-makers to explore business and technical requirements.
Conduct discovery calls, gather detailed project needs, and qualify prospects based on scope, budget, and timelines.
Prepare tailored project proposals with clear scope, deliverables, and cost estimates in collaboration with the technical team.
Present solutions, handle objections, manage negotiations, and close deals for custom IT services.
Maintain strong follow-ups and nurture relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Keep CRM records updated with outreach logs, lead status, pipeline stages, and performance metrics.
Analyze outreach performance and refine messaging, targeting, and strategies for better conversions.
Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover after closing the deal.

Requirements for a Business Development Executive (BDE) in Surat

4–6 years of proven outbound sales experience in IT services/software development companies.
Strong experience in cold calling and cold outreach to international markets (US, UK, EU, MENA, APAC).
Ability to speak confidently with CXOs, founders, and technical decision-makers.
Strong understanding of software development services (web, mobile, API, cloud, automation, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, email outreach tools, and CRM platforms.

You Have a Very High Chance of Grabbing This Position:

Experience selling IT services to startups or funded companies.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and goals.
Exposure to ABM (Account-Based Marketing) or advanced multi-touch outbound strategies.
Strong negotiation skills to close deals and reach mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer interactions and track sales performance.
Knowledge of browser extensions, automation tools, or custom API integrations.

Education and Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Certification in sales, business development, or related areas can be an added advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships.
