About SPRNGPOD

SPRNGPOD is a cloud-based smart-building platform that brings together access control, building management, digital concierge, digital signage, remote viewing, and smart-suite solutions into one platform.

Our products combine hardware, cloud software, AI, video, access control, and IoT to create a simpler and more connected experience for property owners, property managers, security dealers, installers, and building occupants.

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer Intern who can bridge the gap between our technology and our customers.

The Role

As a Pre-Sales Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our sales and product teams to understand customer requirements, demonstrate SPRNGPOD solutions, prepare technical proposals, and help customers and channel partners understand how our technology can solve their problems.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys technology, problem-solving, customer interaction, and learning how products are sold in the real world.

You will gain exposure to smart buildings, IoT, access control, AI, cloud platforms, networking, video intercoms, and B2B technology sales.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Pre-Sales

Learn and become proficient in the SPRNGPOD platform and product portfolio.
Conduct product demonstrations for dealers, distributors, consultants, property managers, and prospective customers.
Understand customer requirements and translate them into appropriate SPRNGPOD solutions.
Assist in preparing technical proposals, quotations, presentations, and solution diagrams.
Support the sales team during customer discovery calls and technical meetings.
Answer technical questions from customers and channel partners.
Assist with proof-of-concept demonstrations and pilot projects.
Help configure and test SPRNGPOD hardware and software solutions.

Solution Design

Review building/project requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
Develop basic system architecture and connectivity diagrams.
Assist with determining hardware, software, networking, and integration requirements.
Research third-party products and technologies that may integrate with SPRNGPOD.
Document customer requirements and proposed solutions.

Sales Enablement

Create technical sales materials, demo scripts, FAQs, comparison sheets, and application guides.
Help the sales team prepare for customer and dealer meetings.
Maintain a library of technical documentation and product information.
Help identify common customer questions and turn them into reusable sales resources.

Product & Market Feedback

Gather feedback from dealers, installers, consultants, and customers.
Identify recurring technical and usability issues.
Communicate customer feedback to the product and engineering teams.
Research competitors and help identify opportunities for SPRNGPOD to differentiate.

What We're Looking ForRequired

Currently graduated from a program in Engineering or Science (Includes Diploma)
Strong interest in technology and emerging products.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Comfortable learning new hardware and software quickly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, customer-friendly language.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a startup environment.

Nice to Have

Experience or familiarity with:

IoT and connected devices
Access control or security systems
Video intercoms
Networking and IP systems
Cloud platforms
APIs and software integrations
Basic electronics and troubleshooting
CRM systems
Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace

Sales experience is not required. We are particularly interested in candidates who have strong technical curiosity and want to develop customer-facing and commercial skills.
