Graphic Design Intern

About the Role

Pythal is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to join the creative team for a 6-month paid internship.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling, enjoys experimenting with design, and wants hands-on experience working on the visual communication of a growing premium brand.

You will work on a variety of creative projects across social media, digital campaigns, product communication, and brand content while learning how thoughtful design is developed and maintained across a brand.

Key Responsibilities

Create visually engaging designs for social media platforms, including posts, stories, reels covers, and carousels.
Assist in creating graphics for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand communication.
Develop creative layouts using typography, imagery, illustrations, and other visual elements.
Adapt designs into different sizes and formats for various digital platforms.
Assist the creative team in developing concepts and visual directions.
Maintain consistency with Pythal's visual identity and brand guidelines.
Research design trends, references, layouts, typography, and creative concepts.
Make design revisions based on feedback and project requirements.
Organize and maintain design files and creative assets.
Collaborate with the content, marketing, and creative teams to bring ideas to life.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or course in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Good understanding of graphic design fundamentals such as composition, typography, spacing, colour, and visual hierarchy.
Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Figma, or similar software.
Strong attention to detail and a good visual sense.
Creative mindset with an interest in exploring new ideas and visual styles.
Ability to understand and follow a brand's visual language.
Willingness to learn, experiment, and take constructive feedback.
Ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet deadlines.
A portfolio or samples of previous design work will be preferred.
