The SEO Content Writer is responsible for developing and executing
SEO-driven content strategies that improve organic visibility, establish
topical authority, and support clients' business objectives. The role
owns the end-to-end content lifecyclefrom identifying search
opportunities through keyword research and search intent analysis to
planning, creating, optimizing, auditing, and maintaining high-quality
content that aligns with Google's Search Quality Guidelines and E-E-A-T
principles. By combining strategic thinking, content excellence, and
data-driven optimization, the role ensures every content asset
contributes to sustainable organic growth, user engagement, and
conversions.
Roles & Responsibilities1. Keyword Research & Content Strategy
Objective: Identify and prioritize content opportunities that align
with business goals, user intent, and search demand.
Responsibilities
· Conduct keyword research using industry-standard SEO tools, Google
Keyword Planner, and Google Search Console.
· Analyse search intent to ensure every content opportunity addresses
the needs of the target audience.
· Perform competitor, SERP, and content gap analyses to identify
ranking opportunities.
· Build topical clusters and content roadmaps that strengthen topical
authority.
· Prioritize content opportunities based on search demand,
competition, business value, and conversion potential.
· Define primary, secondary, semantic, and supporting keywords for
every content initiative.
· Identify opportunities to capture Featured Snippets, AI Overviews,
and other SERP features where applicable.
· Recommend content strategies that improve long-term organic growth
rather than short-term rankings.
2. SEO Content Planning
Objective: Establish a strategic framework for creating content that
satisfies both users and search engines.
Responsibilities
· Develop comprehensive SEO content briefs.
· Define target audience, search intent, and content objectives.
· Create logical content structures and heading hierarchies.
· Plan internal linking strategies that strengthen website
architecture and topical relevance.
· Identify FAQs and opportunities for structured data implementation.
· Ensure content planning aligns with Google's E-E-A-T (Experience,
Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) principles.
· Recommend content angles that highlight each client's unique
expertise, products, services, and value proposition.
· Plan content that supports the client's broader marketing and
business objectives.
3. SEO Content Creation
Objective: Produce original, high-quality content that delivers
value to users while maximizing organic visibility.
Responsibilities
· Write SEO-optimized blog articles.
· Develop landing page content.
· Create homepage and website copy.
· Write category and product page descriptions.
· Produce evergreen, seasonal, and campaign-based content.
· Ensure every piece of content demonstrates E-E-A-T through
originality, expertise, credibility, and user value.
· Optimize content for informational, commercial, navigational, and
transactional search intent.
· Support claims with credible references, statistics, examples, and
authoritative sources where appropriate.
· Balance SEO optimization with readability, user experience, and
conversion objectives.
4. On-Page SEO Optimization
Objective: Maximize the visibility and effectiveness of individual
webpages through strategic on-page optimization.
Responsibilities
· Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, and URLs.
· Improve keyword placement while maintaining natural readability.
· Implement semantic SEO through entities, contextual relevance, and
comprehensive topical coverage.
· Recommend and implement internal linking strategies.
· Optimize image alt attributes and supporting media.
· Improve content formatting, readability, accessibility, and user
experience.
· Optimize pages to improve click-through rates and search visibility.
· Enhance content for Featured Snippets and AI-generated search
experiences where relevant.
5. Content Optimization & Maintenance
Objective: Continuously improve existing content to maintain
competitiveness, relevance, and performance.
Responsibilities
· Refresh outdated content to reflect current information and search
trends.
· Improve existing pages using Search Console, Analytics, and ranking
data.
· Optimize metadata to improve click-through rates.
· Update, merge, or consolidate content where appropriate.
· Improve content depth, authority, and comprehensiveness.
· Maintain alignment with evolving search intent and Google's Search

· Recommend improvements that increase engagement, rankings, and

6. Technical SEO Support
Objective: Identify technical SEO issues affecting content
performance and recommend corrective actions.
