Senior Consultant | Workday FINS Functional | Across Locations | Emerging ERP Solutions

Your work profile

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workday Finance Functional Consultant with 3–10 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Finance solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of Finance processes and be capable of translating business requirements into effective system solutions.

Key skills required

Analyse business requirements and design solutions using Workday Finance
Configure and support Finance modules
Conduct business process workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and fit-gap analysis.
Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and process flow diagrams.
Collaborate with technical consultants to develop and validate customizations, integrations, and reports.
Perform system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and support deployment activities.
Provide end-user training and create user manuals and solution documentation.
Support data migration, data validation, and cutover activities.
Troubleshoot functional issues and provide post-go-live support.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Manufacturing, and Technical teams.

Hands-on experience across end-to-end Workday Finance implementation lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–8 years of experience working with Workday Finance
Strong functional expertise in one or more modules:
Financial Data Model (FDM)
Financial Accounting
Banking & Settlement
Budgets
Procurement
Supplier Accounts & Contracts
Customer Accounts & Contracts
Business Assets
Expenses
Projects / PSA
Taxes
Inventory
Extend
Reporting
Adaptive
Security
Good understanding of business processes and industry best practices.
Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, and documentation.
Ability to conduct workshops and interact with business stakeholders.
Understanding of integrations with third-party applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in Agile or Scrum project environments.
Workday certifications will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, MBA in Finance
