Job Description – Admission Manager

Job Title: Admission Manager

Department: Admissions & Student Recruitment

Reporting To: Director / Head of Admissions / Business Head

Job Location: Raipur

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Admission Manager is responsible for leading the admissions team, driving student enrollment targets, managing lead generation activities, ensuring effective counseling and conversion processes, and overseeing CRM, outreach, and marketing initiatives. The role focuses on maximizing admissions through campus engagement, digital marketing, referral programs, and efficient lead management while maintaining high service standards and team productivity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Admissions & Enrollment Management

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual admission targets.
Monitor and improve lead-to-enrollment conversion rates.
Ensure timely closure of admissions within defined turnaround timelines.
Develop and implement strategies to increase student enrollment.
Track daily admissions performance and revenue contribution.

2. Team Leadership & Performance Management

Lead, mentor, and supervise Admission Counselors and Business Development Executives.
Set KPIs and monitor team productivity.
Conduct daily review meetings and performance discussions.
Ensure adherence to attendance, reporting, and operational guidelines.
Provide coaching to improve counseling and sales effectiveness.

3. Lead Generation & Business Development

Drive inquiry generation through:
Campus Drives
TPO/Dean Engagement
Alumni Outreach
Referral Programs
Direct Sourcing
Social Media Campaigns
Job Portals and Professional Networks
Build relationships with colleges, universities, and training institutions.
Expand the admissions pipeline through strategic partnerships.

4. Counseling & Conversion Management

Oversee counseling sessions and product demonstrations.
Ensure quality interactions with prospective students.
Monitor demo-to-enrollment conversion performance.
Support counselors in handling complex admission cases.
Ensure all prospects receive proper follow-up and engagement.

5. CRM & Process Management

Ensure 100% CRM usage and data accuracy.
Monitor timely lead allocation and follow-ups.
Ensure post-demo follow-ups are completed within defined TAT.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly admissions reports.
Analyze admission funnel metrics and identify improvement opportunities.

6. Marketing & Brand Promotion

Coordinate with the marketing team for lead generation campaigns.
Support execution of digital marketing initiatives.
Monitor campaign performance and lead quality.
Promote employer and institutional branding activities.
Ensure regular content sharing across digital channels.

7. Campus Outreach & Institutional Relations

Build and maintain strong relationships with:
Colleges and Universities
Training & Placement Officers (TPOs)
Deans and Academic Heads
Corporate Partners
Organize campus events, seminars, webinars, and admission drives.

8. Reporting & Analytics

Prepare and present admission performance reports.
Track key admission metrics and conversion ratios.
Analyze lead sources and ROI on marketing initiatives.
Recommend data-driven improvements to management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Lead Generation

100+ inquiries generated weekly through outreach activities.
Achievement of campus drive and institutional engagement targets.
Referral and alumni lead generation targets met.

Lead Management

100% CRM updates and lead tracking compliance.
100% fresh leads contacted within defined timelines.
Follow-up TAT maintained as per process standards.
Admission targets are consistently achieved or exceeded.
Conversion ratios improve month over month.
Lead generation channels remain productive and scalable.
CRM compliance remains above 95%.
Team productivity and retention improve.
Institutional partnerships and campus engagement activities expand consistently.

Counseling & Conversion

Minimum demo-to-enrollment conversion target achieved.
Admission closures within 3–7 days.
Daily and monthly enrollment targets achieved.

Team Performance

Team attendance maintained above 90%.
Daily MOM submission compliance.
Achievement of individual counselor productivity targets.

Marketing & Branding

Successful execution of weekly campaigns.
Growth in social media engagement and campaign reach.
Improvement in brand visibility and inquiry generation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field.
Master's Degree preferred.

Required Experience

5–8 years of experience in Admissions, Education Sales, Student Recruitment, or Business Development.
Minimum 2–3 years of team management experience.
Experience in EdTech, Higher Education, Universities, Training Institutes, or Skill Development organizations preferred.
