About Bee Skilled
Bee Skilled is a vision to see a connected health workforce across geographies with equal opportunities in learning, development, and career growth. Over and over, we have witnessed how raising and empowering local talents brings lasting and sustainable change to health systems, which can lead to Universal Health Coverage. We specialise in building human capital through collective learning approaches and digital methodologies. Bee Skilled is a registered startup in India, recognised by the Government of India as a social enterprise, with collaborating partners in Europe and Africa.
At Bee Skilled, we are committed to excellence in all we do — for our clients, for our colleagues, for our communities and, ultimately, for the aid-recipients who are at the heart of what we do. This collaborative culture transcends organisational and geographic boundaries. Our flagship platform, The HIVE, serves health professionals across Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, supporting continuing professional development (CPD), workforce professionalization, and health supply chain capacity building.
Overview of the Role
As the Marketing Specialist at Job Band 2, you will be a core member of Bee Skilled's Marketing and Community Management business unit. You will plan and execute marketing campaigns for Bee Skilled's training programmes, courses, and CPD initiatives, working closely with the community management and content development teams. This is a hands-on role that spans digital campaign management, social media, search engine optimisation, paid advertising, and partner outreach — all in service of growing The HIVE platform's reach and learner base.
At Job Band 2, you will also provide technical supervision to any Job Band 1 staff in the marketing function, take ownership of project delivery, liaise directly with partner and client points of contact, and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures for new marketing workstreams. You are expected to demonstrate a strong sense of accountability — not only for your own outputs but for the performance of the marketing unit as a whole.
We expect you to be proactive, commercially minded, and deeply committed to Bee Skilled's mission. You must be able to adapt marketing approaches to diverse cultural and geographic contexts, particularly across Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, where the majority of our learner communities are based.
