Job Description (JD) – Spa Therapist

Position: Spa Therapist

Resorts : Essence of Nature

Location: [EON Hills, Midway Corbett - Ranikhet, Ghatti - Basot Road, Village Micholi P.O. Seem, Tehsil, Bhikiyasan, Uttarakhand 263646 ]

Experience: 1–3 Years

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Spa Therapist with 1–3 years of experience to provide professional spa treatments and ensure a relaxing, high-quality experience for guests. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of various massage techniques, body treatments, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Perform spa therapies including body massages, facials, body scrubs, and wellness treatments.
Assess clients' needs and recommend suitable treatments and spa packages.
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized treatment area.
Ensure guest comfort, privacy, and satisfaction throughout the treatment process.
Follow spa protocols, health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Maintain treatment records and client preferences.
Promote spa products and services to guests.
Coordinate with reception and spa management for appointment scheduling.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of spa equipment and products.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience as a Spa Therapist in a spa, salon, hotel, or resort.
Certification or diploma in Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, or a related field.
Knowledge of different massage techniques and skincare treatments.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, and Wellness Treatments.
Strong customer service and sales skills.
Ability to create a relaxing and welcoming environment for guests.
