We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in Modbus communication, BMS integration, and industrial networking for an Air Quality Monitoring (AQI) deployment project at Singapore.
The candidate will be responsible for configuring, integrating, and maintaining Modbus-enabled AQI sensors with the hospital’s Building Management System (BMS), ensuring reliable real-time data communication, network security, and system uptime.
Key Responsibilities
Modbus & BMS Integration
- Configure and integrate Modbus RTU / Modbus TCP/IP devices with BMS platforms.
- Connect AQI sensors, gateways, controllers, and monitoring systems to the hospital BMS network.
- Perform Modbus register mapping, addressing, polling configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure interoperability between third-party devices and BMS software.
Network Engineering
- Design and configure LAN/WAN connectivity for AQI systems.
- Configure switches, routers, VLANs, and industrial network devices.
- Setup IP addressing, gateway configuration, and communication routing.
- Monitor network performance and ensure minimal downtime.
AQI System Deployment
- Install and commission AQI monitoring devices.
- Configure data transmission between field devices and central servers/dashboard.
- Validate sensor communication and live data reporting.
Server & System Support
- Support local server setup for data collection and analytics.
- Configure industrial gateways, edge devices, and IoT communication systems.
- Maintain backup and redundancy mechanisms.
Testing & Troubleshooting
- Conduct FAT/SAT testing for Modbus and BMS communication.
- Diagnose communication issues related to Modbus, TCP/IP, serial converters, and gateways.
- Prepare testing reports and commissioning documentation.
Documentation
- Prepare network diagrams, Modbus mapping sheets, and technical reports.
- Maintain asset inventory and configuration documentation.
- Coordinate with hospital IT/BMS teams and project stakeholders.
Qualification Requirements: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in: Network Engineering / Electronics & Communication / Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation / Computer Engineering
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in:
- BMS integration
- Modbus setup and commissioning
- Industrial networking
- SCADA / IoT projects
- Prior experience in infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Singapore project experience will be an added advantage.
Preferred Certifications: CCNA or CCNP / Industrial Networking Certification / BMS or SCADA Certification / Cybersecurity certification (preferred)
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to project sites in India, Singapore, Thailand, China, Indonesia, etc.
- Ability to work during maintenance windows or off-hours when required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
