A Reservation Trainee is an entry-level hospitality or travel role focused on learning to manage booking inquiries, process room or ticket reservations, and provide excellent customer service. Trainees learn reservation software, upselling techniques, and guest policies under senior supervision, often with the goal of transitioning into a full agent.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Booking Management: Learn to process, confirm, modify, and cancel reservations via phone, email, and booking systems.
- Customer Support: Assist guests by answering queries regarding services, room types, rates, and local attractions.
- System Operations: Train on Global Distribution Systems (GDS) or Property Management Systems (PMS) to monitor availability and keep accurate records.
- Sales & Upselling: Learn to recognize sales opportunities, such as suggesting room upgrades, special packages, or additional services.
- Department Collaboration: Coordinate with the front desk, sales, and housekeeping teams to ensure smooth guest arrivals and manage room blocks.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
