Job Description:

We’re looking for someone who understands that HR is not just about hiring people it’s about identifying potential, understanding human behaviour, building relationships, and helping create high-performing teams.

As an HR Intern at TheBoredMonkey, you will work closely with the HR Head and founding members to scout, attract, and engage top talent across creative, marketing, influencer, strategy, and operations roles. This role is for someone who is naturally curious about people, understands communication deeply, and enjoys finding the right fit for the right role.

This is a high-ownership role where recruitment will be your primary focus, while also exposing you to HR operations, employee engagement, and overall people management processes inside a fast-growing creative agency.

If you’re someone who enjoys speaking to people, spotting talent, improving systems, experimenting with AI tools, and wants to build a long-term career in HR, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the HR Head to manage end-to-end recruitment for various marketing, creative, influencer, and business roles across the company.
Improve hiring efficiency and turnaround time (TAT) by identifying and sharing relevant, high-quality candidate profiles for the right roles.
Actively scout talent through inbound and outbound hiring channels including LinkedIn, job portals, social media, references, communities, and placement networks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, placement coordinators, external hiring partners, and industry connections to create a long-term hiring pipeline.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date candidate database, recruitment trackers, interview pipelines, and hiring reports.
Explore and identify new sourcing platforms, hiring strategies, and recruitment channels to continuously improve talent acquisition quality and speed.
Assist in HR operations, employee engagement activities, onboarding coordination, and day-to-day HR support whenever required.
Use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and other automation platforms to improve sourcing, communication, documentation, and recruitment workflows.
Communicate with candidates and internal stakeholders in a professional, transparent, polite, and timely manner throughout the hiring process.
Take ownership, proactively spotting hiring gaps, suggesting improvements, and contributing ideas instead of waiting only for instructions.

Skills And Qualifications:

Strong interest in building a long-term career in HR, Talent Acquisition, and People & Culture.
Good understanding of human behaviour, communication, and relationship-building.
Strong communication skills with openness, transparency, professionalism, and empathy.
Ability to identify good talent and understand role-candidate fit beyond just resumes.
Familiarity with LinkedIn, job portals, hiring platforms, and sourcing techniques.
Comfort using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and automation tools for productivity and workflow improvement.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain trackers, databases, and hiring pipelines efficiently.
A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with curiosity to learn, experiment, and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Duration & Working Hours:

Working Hours: 11 am - 7 pm Internship

Duration: 4-6 months

Working Days: The 1st Saturday of every month is a working Saturday, and all other remaining Saturdays are week offs.

Benefits: If performed well, the intern would receive an Internship Certificate and a Letter Of Recommendation (LOR).

Location: TheBoredMonkey HQ, 2nd Floor, Todi, Mathuradas Mill Compound, Lower Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400013.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
