Job Responsibilities:

Set up and install dies in presses, ensuring alignment and proper function according to production specifications.
Adjust machine settings, including pressure, temperature, and feed rate, to optimize production efficiency and quality.
Perform regular inspections of dies and presses to identify wear, damage, or potential issues that could affect production.
Conduct test runs to verify the setup and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired part specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with die setups, including misalignment, material jams, or inconsistent part quality.
Work closely with machine operators to ensure they understand the setup and operating procedures for each production run.
Maintain detailed records of die setups, adjustments, and maintenance activities for future reference.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform preventive maintenance on dies and presses.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures during the setup and operation of die equipment.
Continuously monitor production output to ensure parts meet quality standards and make adjustments as needed to maintain consistency.
