General Manager – MG Motor Dealership

Location: Siliguri, West Bengal
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 10–15 Years (Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within a passenger vehicle dealership)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven General Manager to lead the complete operations of our MG Motor dealership. This is a leadership position for someone who has a proven track record of managing dealership operations, driving profitability, building high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The General Manager will report directly to the Owner and will have complete responsibility for the dealership's day-to-day operations and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all dealership departments, including Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Finance & Insurance (F&I), Customer Relations, HR, Administration, and Marketing.
Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profitability targets.
Monitor and improve dealership KPIs, including retail sales, CSI, service revenue, and profitability.
Ensure compliance with MG Motor India policies and dealership operating standards.
Build, mentor, and motivate departmental heads and employees to achieve business goals.
Review daily business performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Develop and execute strategies to increase market share, customer retention, and operational efficiency.
Handle key customer escalations and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
Manage budgets, operating costs, inventory, and overall financial performance.
Coordinate with MG Motor India on sales performance, campaigns, audits, and operational requirements.
Submit regular MIS reports and business updates to the Owner.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
MBA will be an added advantage.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the automobile industry.
At least 5 years of experience as a General Manager, Dealer Principal, Operations Head, or a similar leadership role in a passenger vehicle dealership.
