We help businesses, exhibitors, exporters, professionals and corporate travellers plan and manage international travel for trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, business meetings and other commercial events worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced B2B Sales & Business Development Executive with a strong background in the travel industry to expand our Trade Fair and Exhibition Travel business.

Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible for developing new B2B business, with a particular focus on Trade Fair and Exhibition Travel.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel industry and proven experience in B2B sales, business development, corporate travel or exhibition/trade fair travel.

The candidate will identify potential corporate clients, exhibitors and business travellers, generate leads, arrange meetings, present travel solutions, follow up on enquiries and convert prospects into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Fair & Exhibition Sales

Identify companies, exporters, manufacturers, distributors and professionals participating in international trade fairs and exhibitions.

Develop new business opportunities around upcoming international trade fairs and exhibitions.

Contact exhibitors and business travellers to introduce Sky Direct Travel's services.

Generate leads through calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, references and field visits.

Understand clients' exhibition travel requirements and coordinate suitable travel solutions.

Follow up consistently with prospects and convert enquiries into confirmed business.

Build long-term relationships with companies that regularly participate in international exhibitions.

Develop repeat business from clients attending multiple trade fairs throughout the year.

B2B Business Development

Identify and acquire new corporate and B2B accounts.

Build relationships with business owners, senior management, travel coordinators, HR/admin teams and other decision-makers.

Arrange and conduct client meetings and presentations.

Prepare, present and follow up on quotations and proposals.

Negotiate and close sales while maintaining healthy margins.

Maintain an active sales pipeline and systematic follow-up process.

Develop existing accounts and generate repeat and referral business.

Maintain accurate client and sales records.

Travel Industry Knowledge

Use existing knowledge and experience within the travel industry to develop new business.

Understand international air tickets, hotels, visas and other business-travel requirements.

Understand the specific requirements of clients travelling for international exhibitions and trade fairs.

Keep updated on major international trade fairs and business-travel destinations.

Coordinate effectively with ticketing, visa, hotel and operations teams.

Required Experience & Skills

Mandatory:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the Travel Industry.

Proven experience in B2B Sales / Business Development within the travel sector.

Strong knowledge of international travel products and services.

Experience dealing with corporate clients, business travellers or travel partners.

Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Proven ability to generate leads and convert them into business.

Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.

Comfortable with cold calling, client meetings and field sales.

Target-oriented with a strong commercial mindset.
