Key Responsibilities

Material Handling: Receive, inspect, store, and issue mining-related materials, spare parts, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems (e.g., SAP MM, Sage).
Stock Verification: Conduct daily cycle counts and monthly physical stock takes.
Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse/site store, complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Documentation: Generate Goods Received Notes (GRN), issue vouchers, and transfer notes.
Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams for timely delivery of materials.
Stock Optimization: Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and identify obsolete materials.
Support Production: Ensure quick issuance of parts for dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and other machinery to minimize downtime.
Data Management: Collect, clean, and consolidate vast amounts of data from various departments into centralized databases.

Essential Skills

Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros). Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Analytical Thinking: A problem-solving mindset with the ability to spot data trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
