Full job description

Support the Sales Business Development team in identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and expanding customer reach across banking, fintech, and enterprise segments.
Assist in market research, customer engagement, and sales pipeline management to contribute towards business growth and customer acquisition.

Major Areas of Contribution:

1. Strategic Contribution:

Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industries, and growth opportunities.
Build and maintain prospect databases for sales campaigns.
Support competitive analysis and industry trend tracking.
Assist in identifying potential partnerships and business opportunities.

2. Functional Contribution:

Generate and qualify leads through LinkedIn, online platforms, referrals, and research databases.
Schedule meetings and coordinate interactions with prospective customers.
Support preparation of presentations, proposals, and sales documentation.
Maintain CRM records and sales activity trackers.
Assist the sales team in customer follow-ups and pipeline management.
Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.

Success Indicators in First 6 Months

Successful creation and maintenance of a quality lead database.
Consistent support in lead generation and appointment setting activities.
Accurate CRM and sales pipeline updates.
Timely completion of assigned market research projects.
Positive feedback from sales team members and stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Background

Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Management, or related disciplines.
Strong interest in Sales, Business Development, and Customer Relationship Management.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
