JOB DESCRIPTION – SEO & SMO EXECUTIVE

Job Title: SEO & SMO Executive

Job Type: Full-Time

Locations: Kolkata, West Bengal

Job Description

We are looking for passionate SEO & SMO Executives who can independently manage SEO activities, handle multiple clients’ social media accounts, and execute paid advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Optimization (SMO), content optimization, digital marketing strategies, and paid marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

· Perform On-Page and Off-Page SEO activities.

· Optimize website content, landing pages, category pages, and product pages.

· Create and optimize Meta Titles, Meta Descriptions, Header Tags, and Image Alt Tags.

· Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.

· Improve website rankings and increase organic traffic.

· Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate with the development team for issue resolution.

· Build high-quality backlinks using White Hat SEO techniques.

· Track website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

· Prepare weekly and monthly SEO reports.

Social Media Optimization (SMO)

· Manage multiple clients’ social media accounts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube.

· Handle day-to-day posting, scheduling, and publishing of content.

· Create monthly content calendars and coordinate with the design team for creatives.

· Increase followers, engagement, reach, and brand awareness through organic strategies.

· Monitor comments, messages, and customer interactions across social media platforms.

· Track performance metrics and prepare monthly social media reports.

· Stay updated with the latest social media trends and best practices.

· Ensure consistent branding and communication across all client accounts.

Paid Advertising (Google & Meta Ads)

· Plan, create, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube).

· Manage Meta Ads campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.

· Monitor ad performance, optimize budgets, and improve ROI/ROAS.

· Perform audience targeting, remarketing, and conversion tracking.

· Generate campaign performance reports and provide optimization recommendations.

Required Skills

· Senior Position: 2–3 years of hands-on SEO & SMO experience.

· Junior Position: Minimum 6 months of relevant SEO & SMO experience.

· Strong knowledge of Meta Tags, Keyword Research, Content Optimization, and Technical SEO.

· Experience managing multiple client websites and social media pages.

· Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram Ads).

· Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools.

· Knowledge of backlink building and link-building strategies.

· Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.

· Basic knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, or other creative tools is an added advantage.

· Good communication, planning, and time management skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
