Junior Accountant (Accounts & ERP Functional Support)

Company: Tridotstech Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Porur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 1 – 2.5 Years
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and payroll activities while also supporting our ERP implementation team as a Junior Functional Consultant. This unique role offers an excellent opportunity for finance professionals to gain exposure to ERP systems, business process consulting, and client interaction.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn ERP functional consulting.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance

Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
Prepare journal entries, invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and account reconciliations.
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Perform bank reconciliations and assist in monthly and annual financial closing.
Support GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and audit activities.
Prepare financial reports and management reports as required.

Payroll Management

Process monthly payroll accurately and within timelines.
Maintain employee payroll records and statutory deductions.
Coordinate with the HR team regarding attendance, leave, reimbursements, and salary processing.
Ensure payroll compliance with applicable statutory regulations.

ERP Functional Support

Understand client business processes and functional requirements.
Assist in ERP implementation, configuration, testing, and user acceptance.
Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and user manuals.
Coordinate with the technical team to resolve functional issues.
Provide end-user training and post-implementation support.
Support clients in adopting ERP best practices and improving business processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1–2.5 years of experience in accounting and payroll.
Good understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and payroll processing.
Basic knowledge of ERP software such as Odoo, SAP, Tally, Zoho Books, or similar platforms is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and business applications.

Preferred Skills

Experience working with ERP systems.
Knowledge of business process documentation.
Client handling or customer support experience is an added advantage.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
