Job Title: Blog & Email Marketing Intern — Content & Analytics (Remote)

Location: Remote Contract Length: 3 Months (Full-time Internship)

We are seeking a Blog & Email Marketing Intern who is passionate about content creation, storytelling, and — critically — the analytics that prove what's working. This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with our CEO (Princeton, UCLA MBA, former Deloitte Consulting) and marketing team, gaining real-world experience across multiple ventures.

Role Overview

As a Blog and Email Marketing Intern, you will take ownership of creating, managing, and optimizing written content that drives engagement, builds brand awareness, and nurtures leads. Every piece of content you produce will be measured: your main focus will be on producing SEO-optimized blog posts and executing targeted, data-driven email campaigns — then using performance data to iterate, refine, and report on what moves the needle for each venture's growth strategy.

You will use tools like Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Analytics, and AI-based writing and analytics platforms to measure performance and streamline content workflows. If you enjoy digging into dashboards as much as drafting copy, this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics & Performance Reporting

Own the measurement layer of our content engine: define, track, and report on KPIs across blog and email channels (traffic, rankings, open rates, click-through rates, conversions, list growth).
Build and maintain performance dashboards and weekly/monthly reports using Zoho Analytics, Google Analytics/Search Console, and campaign-level data.
Translate data into insight: identify which topics, formats, subject lines, and send times drive results, and present clear, actionable recommendations to leadership.
Run structured A/B tests across email and content, document learnings, and feed them back into the content strategy.

Blog Content & SEO

Research, write, and edit engaging blog posts aligned with brand voice and SEO best practices.
Develop topic ideas and content calendars grounded in audience data, keyword research, and industry trends — not guesswork.
Optimize posts with keywords, formatting, and internal linking to increase search visibility.
Track blog performance (organic traffic, rankings, engagement, conversions) and use those metrics to prioritize and shape future content.

Email Marketing & Lifecycle Campaigns

Create and manage newsletters, drip campaigns, and promotional emails using Zoho Campaigns or similar tools.
Segment email lists using behavioral and engagement data, personalize content, and run A/B tests to improve performance.
Support lead nurturing workflows within Zoho CRM, ensuring data accuracy, proper tagging, and clean reporting pipelines.
Monitor campaign analytics end-to-end (deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and recommend data-backed improvements each cycle.

AI & Automation

Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, SurferSEO, or Writesonic) to enhance blog writing, keyword optimization, campaign copy, and performance analysis.
Explore automation and reporting opportunities within Zoho CRM, Campaigns, and Analytics to streamline content, outreach, and measurement workflows.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

0–1 year of experience in digital marketing, content writing, or email marketing (internship or project experience counts).
Knowledge or exposure to Zoho CRM is a must.
Demonstrated comfort with marketing analytics — experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, Zoho Analytics, or campaign reporting dashboards is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and optimization is required.
Experience with email marketing platforms (Zoho Campaigns, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).
Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and content performance metrics.

Skills

Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Strong analytical mindset: comfortable working with data, spotting trends, and turning metrics into recommendations.
Working knowledge of spreadsheets (pivot tables, basic formulas) for campaign and content analysis.
Detail-oriented with a knack for creating engaging, reader-focused content.
Self-motivated, creative, and eager to learn new marketing and analytics technologies.

Education

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
