Customer Support Engineer

[Chennai]

Navidiz Software Solutions, Chennai is the Indian Partner of Novade Solutions, Singapore (www.novade.net), a fast-growing software startup developing cloud and mobile applications for the Building and Construction Industry. Our mission at Navidiz, is to help customers improve Productivity, Quality and Safety in construction projects. Our solutions are used daily by thousands of professionals from iconic organizations.

We are expanding our product portfolio, as well as our presence across Asia and Europe.

We are looking to hire a smart, self-driven and curious individual who would like to be part of our growth story. The selected candidate will be hired by Navidiz Software Solutions to exclusively work for Novade product line in India and abroad (as necessary).

Position Summary:

Exciting career opportunity that provides a Customer Support Engineer role in the Navidiz Business Consulting team in India.

The Customer Support Engineer will support construction-industry customers across India and international markets to ensure successful onboarding, training and product adoption.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As Customer Support Engineer, you will be responsible for and will require the following:

What you will be doing

· Your mission is to ensure that customers using Novade software receive prompt and efficient support

· On assigned customer projects, your role is to ensure that the right information is gathered, projects are setup, manual processes are digitalized, users are trained to use our system

· Handling customer support tickets and escalations.

· Manual Software Testing Support of our application.

· Coordinating with product, service and development teams in Novade Singapore.

· Providing product demonstrations & training sessions and troubleshooting customer issues

What you need to succeed in this position

Academics:

· An engineering graduate (UG/PG) with specialization in Civil Engineering

· New Graduates may apply

Note: Candidates with non Civil background, Do not apply

Job Skills:

· Familiarity with reading building/technical drawings

· Experience in or Knowledge of software used in the construction industry is an added advantage

· Basic understanding of building and construction processes

· Ability to use technology, mobile apps and cloud services as relevant to construction

· Familiarity with construction processes such as checklist driven construction activities, inspection, snagging and handover of building projects is a plus.

· Experience in Microsoft Office suite and some knowledge of how databases work

· Minimal experience in a Customer Support role for similar software (a plus)

· Good verbal & written communication skills in English and verbal Communication in Hindi is must. Communication in Telugu is an added advantage.

· Detail oriented, self-driven and self-organized (ability to work independently with minimal supervision)

· Positive work attitude

· Learning mindset

· Resident of Chennai (a plus, not mandatory). Should be able to travel and/or re-locate to Work Site Pan India as needed.
