About Danish Power Limited

Danish Power Limited is engaged in the manufacturing and supply of power and distribution transformers and related electrical equipment. We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager who can strengthen our market presence, develop new business opportunities, and build long-term relationships with customers across the power and electrical industry.

Job Purpose

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of transformers, developing new customers, managing existing accounts, understanding customer requirements, and achieving assigned sales and revenue targets.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the transformer industry, electrical equipment, EPC companies, utilities, contractors, consultants, and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales.
Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities in assigned markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, consultants, EPC companies, utilities, industries, and electrical contractors.
Generate enquiries and follow up on new and existing leads.
Understand customer technical requirements and coordinate with the engineering and technical teams for suitable transformer solutions.
Prepare and submit quotations and commercial offers in coordination with the commercial and technical teams.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions with customers.
Follow up on quotations and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
Monitor competitors, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
Develop a strong sales pipeline and maintain regular reporting of enquiries, quotations, orders, and expected business.
Visit customers regularly to understand their requirements and develop long-term business relationships.
Coordinate with production, planning, quality, dispatch, finance, and other internal departments to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.
Ensure timely collection of payments in coordination with the finance team.
Participate in exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings, and other industry events to generate business opportunities.
Handle customer complaints and coordinate internally to ensure timely resolution.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates for management.
Achieve sales, profitability, customer acquisition, and collection targets assigned by the company.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in selling:

Power Transformers
Distribution Transformers
Dry-Type Transformers
Electrical Switchgear
Substations and Power Equipment
EPC / Electrical Projects
Industrial Electrical Equipment

will be preferred.

Qualification

Preferred: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Candidates with strong relevant experience in transformer/electrical equipment sales may also be considered.

Experience

5–10 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the transformer, electrical equipment, power transmission & distribution, EPC, or industrial electrical sector.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, commercially strong, and customer-focused, with the ability to independently develop business rather than simply manage existing accounts.

The person should be comfortable meeting customers, generating leads, following up on enquiries, negotiating with buyers, and taking a sales opportunity from the initial enquiry through to order confirmation.
